The key is to rub it on your forehead as well as the back of your neck your temples and a little bit on your shoulders (base of neck) the aroma is so pleasant it helps with nausea. I would place a little bit under my nose to help with nausea..I had four headaches and each one was gone within an hour. It does go away just be patient lie down in a quiet dark place and it works.
