I love that it has extra clips to secure to the cage. There will always be waste but I love these! I will however get a longer, shallow version for my kits when they leave the nest box because they currently jump in these and I don't want any broken legs.

the quality is really nice and sturdy th use is easy. it waste hay i think the gaps are too far apart. holds a lot of hay at one time which is useful. the two pack is nice and the hooks for cages is a plus but not needed to use. i’ve heard some pigs tend to jump in hay holders and get hurt, thankfully mine have not had this issue ... show more

I believe the listing makes it clear that these feeders are different sizes- one is SLIGHTLY smaller- but despite that, the smaller one still holds a good amount of hay! The hooks fit nicely over the bars of a wire cage which has made them nice for when I am traveling with my rabbits and want to provide them hay for the road. The paint/coating has held up with no chipping or flaking. The bars are close enough to prevent the rabbits from pulling out large clumps and wasting a lot of hay, but not so close as to make it difficult for them to eat from. I do recommend you use the little clips that they come with, as my rabbits have figured out they can pull the feeders up and off of where they're hung. But that isn't a fault of the product. ... show more

Product is nice looking, well made, sturdy with the extra clips. I tried these to prevent another hay eye poke for guinea piggies but instead of crawling into the hanging hay bags l had before these bars are too close making it so much harder for them to get their hay out and trying hard to can still get their eyes poked. They can't reach bottom half of the hay, they're still hungry it gets stale and is wasted. Since narrow at the bottom they can't reach. Yes they complain about it, wow! ... show more
