This is made for Bissell but will work with other brands with the right adaptor. These are great for upholstery, blankets, or any other material that would otherwise get sucked up by standard vacuum attachments. There is a learning curve for proper use, push too hard and the blade stops, push too lightly it doesn’t suck up the dirt. For $20 this is a useful attachment to have in your arsenal of attachments. I bought two different turbo upholstery/pet vac brush attachments. I'm using a 6.5 hp shop vac with an adapter and a short radiator hose to get everything to fit (for the price, an adapter could have been included, although it won't help me with my 2.5" hose). I was really rooting for this attachment because of the rubber fins, but it fell short. It kept stopping and struggled picking up the hair on the cat tree. I'm thinking if the fins were recessed a little more, maybe it would have kept it from stopping. I say this because the other turbo vac brush, that was half the price, had a removable piece. The removable piece created a slight gap and had rubber nubs that made the bristles sit back further. When I removed that piece, the bristles would stop as well. With the piece in place, it worked great. I can't say for sure if the nubs made any difference (others reviewed that they removed the nubs and were happy with the performance). ... just saying! High quality product, good easy way to open it up for cleaning. Unfortunately did not fit the eureka mighty mite or the oreck vacuums I have so measure if the compatible brands on not on the list. Exterior diameter is 1 3/8" which exactly matches the diameter of my tubes so no way to get one inside the other. This looks perfect for cleaning carpeted stairs. Will try to find an adapter to see if I can fit it on. ... show more
