  • Absolutely superb
Size: 88 Key Black
I purchased this keyboard so I could practice on it, wearing headphones, while my wife watches TV. I also wanted something that I could have in the green room to warm up on prior to a gig. My regular rig that I gig with consists of a Studiologic Grand midi controller connected to a Macbook running Main Stage, together with an Access Virus. Of course, the Oyayo cannot be directly compared to my gigging rig, but the Oyayo is absolutely excellent for my intended purpose. I purchased the upgraded version because it has a midi jack. I took it out of the box, unfolded it on the coffee table, and it fired right up, and has been running on battery for probably 4 hours. The action, while it does not compare to a true weighted action, is excellent for what it is and not at all offensive (like many unweighted actions can be). The velocity response is right on. The key dimensions and the throw are right on. The speakers are sufficient, and when using the piano setting, the entire keyboard resonates, thus adding to a pleasant aural sensation. So far, I've used patch #1 (grand piano) and patch #8 (clavinet). I've checked out the metronome and some of the percussion rhythm patches. For me, this keyboard delivers exactly what I was looking for: a compact, lightweight design that is easily portable. The sound palette is way beyond what I need for my limited purpose. This keyboard would be sufficient for an amateur to use as his/her primary keyboard at home and would work fine for accompanying singers for informal sessions. I have not connected the audio to a sound system. ... show more

  • The best folding 88 note keyboard
Size: 88 Key Black
I’ve been looking for the perfect lightweight keyboard for travel and this the the best one I found. I have 2 others of these. The nice thing about this one is the speakers sound way better, there is a 1/4 inch jack for both the main out and the sustain pedal. All the others use 1/8 inch. The other nice thing is it uses a regular usb jack so the midi works for my computer. Glad I got this. ... show more

  • OYAYO has combination of Bluetooth and true MIDI connectivity, along with 1/4-inch in/out ports
Size: 88 Key Black
Product Reviewed: OYAYO Upgraded Folding Piano Keyboard, 88 Key Full Size Semi Weighted Keyboard – Support MIDI and Bluetooth I purchased the upgraded version of the OYAYO folding piano, and I have to say it’s a well-built, sturdy instrument with a premium feel. The sound quality is solid, thanks to the dual top-facing speakers, and it delivers a pleasing tone for a portable digital piano. All the features listed—MIDI support, Bluetooth, and the included sustain pedal and carrying bag—worked as expected. That said, while the quality was the best among the models I tested, it was also wider and heavier than I would prefer for frequent travel. It also charges using an older-style adapter, rather than the more modern USB-C connection that many devices now use. As part of my comparison, I also purchased the TERENCE Digital Piano 88 Key, which has a similar folding design to the Finger Dance model, but unfortunately felt too lightweight and cheaply built in comparison—so I returned it. Ultimately, I chose to keep the Finger Dance folding piano because it struck the right balance between portability, features, and price. It also uses a USB-C charger and includes an option to turn the key lights on or off, which is incredibly helpful when learning new songs with compatible software. I also ordered the Vangoa Folding Piano 88 Key, which I understand is one of the most advanced and highly recommended models currently. Unfortunately, it never arrived, and it seems to be sold out everywhere—including in London and internationally. If it becomes available again, I plan to try it, and may even end up keeping it depending on how it compares. Overall, the OYAYO is the highest-quality folding piano I’ve tested so far. If portability is not your top priority, it’s an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Great keyboard for practicing when travelling.
Size: 88 Key Black
This is a great keyboard for the price. The sound is not as great as a higher end keyboard but I was pleasantly surprised at the sound. It is better than most keyboards at this price. I purchased this to practice while travelling. I am preparing for a piano exam and this worked well to use while away from home. I purchased other keyboards before this one and had to return them because the sound was not good. It also worked well when I connected it to Garage Band to improve the sound. Not required but it is compatible if you want to connect it. Great for beginners up to early advanced players. Excellent for practicing while travelling. ... show more

  • Not worth it for 200
Size: 88 Key Black
I saw a youtube video praising this and someone said it's an upgraded folding piano with better speakers, so I was hopeful. For context I'm an intermediate player who is looking to pass the time. I'm rusty but I learned on an upright. Size and weight are good, it is very portable. Action is ok, passable, but not worth the price. I think a $200 casio would be better, or a second hand yamaha/roland. The dealbreaker was that the speakers are really bad. They sound super tinny when pressing certain keys, and only works if the volume is less than 4. Also I think the sensitivity needs to be tuned - it is inconsistently loud and quiet, and really hard to press close to the black keys. I would not recommend it for these reasons because it would be a giant headache in the long run - you wouldn't be able to play on a real piano if you got used to this. It would create some really bad habits. So overall it's maybe worth $100 for a child to gauge interest, or for an adult to practice scales on. One star because I like that the headphone jack was in front. One star for portability and ease of folding. ... show more

  • Real piano look and feel
Size: 88 Key Black
Key action is realistic, sound is authentic. It's easy to fold and open. Quality feels good. I haven't used any of the features yet, so no review on that aspect
