This is a truly awesome light bar! It's super bright and has selectable patterns making it customizable to your current need. It comes with everything you need to install it on most vehicles. This would be great for a smaller vehicle, perhaps even a mid size vehicle but the mounting brackets and mounting hardware extended to maximum is not wide enough to install on my 2005 Ford E-350 van. It would not fit my 2002 Chevy Silverado either. I do not count that against it I'm just offering that information to potential buyers to save yourself the hassle of a return. ... show more

The bar itself is great. The patterns are awesome, the control panel is good. My big problem is I run a CB radio and this thing emits so much RF noise I can hear it on my CB and so can other people. I didn’t have this problem with my last light bar with the exact same setup. I’d return it but I already cut the wiring to wire it into my existing setup. This a lot more than your standard rotating amber beacon. This shell is almost completely made of aluminum, and very durable which matters when snowplowing residential properties with overhanging limbs. The gutter mounts that come with would do a great job but I mounted this to my Backrack window protector. The wiring is plenty long to connect to the Ford upfitter switches on my Super Duty. The remote had to be wired into the cab through the firewall. The light is very bright and lets everyone know you have arrived and working. The photos of the light bar in the Amber/White configuration are misleading. The white and amber are NOT alternating as shown in the photos, but instead one entire half of the light bar is white and the other entire half Amber. I'm not sure I'm going to legally be permitted to use it in that configuration. White/Amber alternating is fine, but Im pretty positive half white, half Amber is not going to be legal where I live. Had I have known that the light bar was going to come in that configuration, I would have selected an all Amber variant. So, that's very disappointing to now have a light bar that I can not use. Having said that, in terms of the actual light bar itself, it seems fairly well constructed. The body is aluminum. The LED modules are screwed in from the front so they do appear to be replaceable; however judging from the photos it looks as though each module's wiring connects to a central PCB somewhere within the body of the light bar. Looking over the light bar, it does not appear that the PCB would be easily assessable without quite a bit of disassembly and removal of many modules to gain access to it. In addition, I have never seen an LED module available anywhere like those this light bar uses, so if you need a replacement, you're most likely not going to find one anywhere. The controller that is used for this light bar is a let down as well. It comes with the very same cheap plastic controller that nearly every budget light bar comes with; however this isn't exactly a budget light bar. This one comes in at a fairly hefty price tag, so to see budget components are being used, is disappointing. The light bar is fairly bright. There are not a lot of flash patterns to choose from; however, the ones it does have are not bad. There is a button to control front/back so you can have only the front illuminated or the back or both as well as a button for steady burn. Absent are buttons to quickly enable traffic advisory arrow modes so you have to switch through all of the modes to find the one you need. Overall, the light bar seems to be constructed fairly well. I can't speak to weather resistance because I'm not able to use it due to the misleading product photos demonstrating alternating Amber/White, when in reality one half of the light bar is Amber, the other half white, so that would not be legal for me to use in that configuration. I wish I had selected an all Amber model. Due to the misleading product photos and cheap controller, I would not recommend this light bar. ... show more
