- If it is found that the 9.5mm thick floor cannot be cut, please remove the blade and reinstall it, as there are a few blades with gaps during assembly. Reinstalling it will solve this problem. Cutting 9.5mm thickness flooring is no problem.
- It is recommended to place the cutter on a workbench or bracket so that you do not have to bend over while working!
- When you are not working; Insert the latch into the side panel keyhole to fix the cam so that it does not work and protects safety away from children.

This Mantisol flooring cutter works very well. I used it to cut and install over 1000 sq. ft. of Lifeproof 22 mil LVP flooring purchased at the orange big box store. This Mantisol flooring cutter cuts through the 7 mm thick Lifeproof LVP flooring like a hot knife through butter. This Mantisol flooring cutter is so much faster and cleaner than scoring the LVP planks or using any type of saw to cut them. This Mantisol flooring cutter will both rip and cross-cut LVP flooring planks with ease. It will also cut accurate 45 degree angles to 90 degree straight cuts, and every angle in between. This Mantisol flooring cutter is such a time saver in both installing the flooring, and not having a huge cutting mess to clean up after the job is done. The long arm on this Mantisol flooring cutter also provides enough leverage to make cuts while on your knees. It also has a safety pin to prevent unwanted cuts (like little fingers) while not in use. As I stated previously, I used this Mantisol flooring cutter to cut and install over 1000 sq. ft. of Lifeproof LVP flooring with ease. I did purchase an extra blade just in case, but the original blade is still as sharp as a razor after all of the required cutting for the floorng job. I am a 71 year old lady and decided I could do my own flooring. This tool made the job so much easier and kept the mess to a minimum. Good straight clean cuts but by width and length. I am very inexperienced but I managed to get it all done in three days working just a few hours a day. Having the right tools makes a difference for sure. I highly recommend this tool

I accidentally jambed my finger in between the blade while It was just sitting there .. I instinctively pulled my hand out and severed my finger nail and the top part of my finger clean off! .. I just used this tool yesterday to install approximately 500 square feet of 20 mil 9" x 48" LVP flooring. This cutter worked remarkably. The cuts were fairly clean, it was super easy to use and it functioned as stated. Set up out of the box was easy and the 2 measuring stickers on the cutter were accurate. All end cuts were a breeze, but the rip cuts needed a small learning curve to get used to. The guide creates perfect 90 degree end cuts but I did not need to adjust it for any angle cuts as my project did not require those, although this is a great option for future projects. For the rips and as a tip for future purchasers, I found the measuring tape for the parallel guide adjustments to be easy, but the board will need to be flipped around if the required rip is over half the width of a 9" plank. In this case, I actually found it to be quicker to just draw a straight line using a new plank as a straight edge, then line it up with the blade. Rips for full planks will require 4 separate cuts for a full 48" planks as the blade length is 13". Even on the last cut of the project, the blade showed no signs of dulling and the cutter still seemed very sturdy. The cutter is lightweight and can be easily carried. The biggest attraction, is the lack of mess versus using a compound sliding miter saw shooting saw dust everywhere. Although I did need to use a jigsaw for notch cuts, the cleanup for this particular project was less by far. The only reason I gave this cutter a 4 star rating was that the blade installed on the cutter right out of the box was slightly chipped on the left side where I made all of my end cuts. This ended up not affecting any cuts, but I was disappointed in the quality control for the product. The spare blade had no issues but I opted to not switch out the blade. I had contacted Mantistol customer service asking for another blade via email, but received no reply whatsoever. If they read this review, a suggestion would be to include some type of protective blade guard for shipping or when they are assembling the product to prevent this and better quality control before packaging. Overall, I had a great experience using this cutter would highly recommend this product.

This was the first vinyl plank floor I have installed and having done a few wooden systems, I decided to get the right tool for the job. (If you are doing wood, get a Skil 3601) This tool makes cutting to length quick and easy, a massive time saver. Don't believe what they tell you, you cannot score quality plans with a knife and snap them. This particular tool also lets you cut boards to width. You move the sliders on the sides and place the fence on them and presto, you can use the tool like a pair of scissors and cut lenghtwise to a specific width. You also adjust the tool to cut on an angle, but I just left that on the whole time.

Am I glad I got this tool! I have laid flooring in the past and used the miter and table saws. Messy setup of saw fast and constant in and out running back and forth. This cutting tool makes a big difference in efficiency and cleanliness. The cuts are very easy and precise. I can have it sitting right next to me as I lay flooring. It seems well built and sturdy and should last a while. It does not weight as much and is small compared to lugging a table saw and mitter saw to job sites. Definitely worth the investment.
