I'm almost always wearing a hat everywhere I go and I have a ton of them so I've tried quite a few of these cooling style hats over the years. A lot of them don't actually feel comfortable or have any sort of cooling properties but this one actually does in my opinion. It's comfortable and I do feel like the ventilation holes combined with the properties of the material do offer a bit of a cooling sensation. It's definitely for bigger heads though. I have a huge head and even on mine it feels a little sloppy and ill-fitting. The brim is appropriately sized and I was able to shape it a little bit but it still feels a little bunchy in some places. I know the "look" of a hat is a lot of personal preference though so based solely on the quality and construction of the hat, I think they did a good job with it. I will definitely wear it and for $19.98 (at the time of this review) I think it's a good value. I would recommend (but maybe not if you have a smaller head).

This Uvsai sun protection UPF 50+ hat is very good, and if you are someone like me that is spending a lot of time outside exposed to the sun, you would love the protection that this one is providing. Personally, I am at least 3 to 4 hours a day outside every day coaching soccer and this hat is preventing all those pesky sun rays attaching my skin, there are a lot of positives to be discussed about this one and only a few negatives to be mentioned, but before that a few quick words about the packing and presentation. Well not much to talk about unfortunately, the hat comes flat in a small protective plastic bag and no frills additionally. Positives: - Ultra long brim and plenty of holes for ventilation - I have similar hats with smaller brims and always wanted some more shade to protect me, this hat offers about an inch more from what I had before, and more shade equals better protection. The perforated back side is good for ventilation as well. - Very good ventilation on the top - In addition to the long brim, you have two extra top mesh perforations that are providing a lot of air and ventilation, and the size adjustment is done with hook and loop strap, which I prefer as over time this one tends to hold longer compared to the plastic ones. - Seven different colors to choose from, my personal choice was the dark grey and I really like it, but there are other ones to choose from. - Inexpensive - With a price tag under $20, this hat is offering a lot of value for the features included. - Very discreet branding on the outside, I love that, just a clean simple design. Negatives: - No neck or face protection from the sun, I have other models that are providing those features for the same price. - Better water protection would have been great, again not a huge issue. Overall, a great sun protection from this hat, it does exactly what I need it to without breaking the bank.

This hat fits great, and it is comfortable to wear. with the Velcro closure on the back, it was easy to fit to my large head. Most hats make my head sweat, but this has holes in the back that let the air flow a bit. It is water resistant, so when I do sweat, it doesn't make the hat look all dingy. It is pretty light, but it seems well-made, so it should last a few seasons.

I like this hat, but it's too big for me. I don't have any hair, so it doesn't fit snugly on my head. If you have hair, it might fit you better. I'm going to have to return it, but I'm going to keep looking for a hat that fits.

I picked up this hat since I have older ones that are pretty worn out and just don't look that good anymore. This hat is extremely lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The brim bent easily into shape and has held fine. My golf markers clip onto the brim and don't slip around. The Velcro adjustment on the hat works well and holds tight. I really like the look and feel of the hat and would definitely recommend it.

For a hat to wear when outside, playing in the water, or boating, this has is really effective. It's comfortable, has good build quality, and seems to repel water. It doesn't get overly hot in the sun like some other hats I have thanks to good ventilations holes. The style is ok. It's not too tall, and the sizing strap is not just the classic plastic tabs. The brim is slightly flatter than I like, but it seems to be somewhat moldable. Overall I call it solid.

This is an upgrade from my 24 year old cloth cap. The material is thin, and strong. It is well vented without leaving the back of your head exposed to the sun. And I like to add a bend to the bill of my ball caps. This cap took the shape I wanted in seconds; and stays where I like it. I tend to like unbranded hats; and even though the Uvsai name is on it; it is done very unobtrusively, and subtly to one side. It is hand washable, and I think it's less likely to get salty sweat stains like my cloth caps do. When those got washed; I'd have to redo the bill shape every time. This will be great for spending time outdoors in the warm days from Summer to Fall.
