We have a V7 and it works just as well as the original head. Seems to grab all the dirt, but it does suffer on slightly larger things like pieces of paper or a piece of a dead leaf on the floor. No complaints though, the original also suffered with those. The little light is a nice addition to help see where the dust might be settled that you can't necessarily see with the naked eye. The media could not be loaded. I got this because my daughter had a cleaning head with light like this and it made it easy to see the dust bunnies and other foreign objects on the floor. That alone made me want one. I got it for a Dyson V7 and it fits fine. You wouldn't know that it is not a Dyson part. It made for hardwood floors and it works well however the brush is not suitable for carpet. My wife doesn't like the fact that she now has to change heads going from hard flooring to carpets but it does not bother me at all. It's easy to swap out. I like it a lot. ... show more
