Works great!
MPC live is it! This adapter plus was right on time. This adapter outputs the 19 V DC at 3.42 A, which matches what many Akai MPC standalone units (like the MPC Live, MPC X) require. It supports a worldwide input voltage (100–240 V), so it's usable across different regions without needing a voltage converter. The price was solid, and makes it a good spare or backup adapter, especially if you travel or want a secondary unit for your studio. According to the specs, the adapter has “low interference and noise,” meaning it’s less likely to introduce electrical noise into your MPC’s audio signal. You want the audio signal to be clear of any noise. This fall back full circle to the input voltage (100–240 V). The UpBright 19 V AC/DC adapter is a reasonable budget replacement for powering Akai MPC devices like the MPC Live, MPC X, or MPC Live II. Its power specs are on target, and the built-in protections give some reassurance. For someone who just needs a working power supply without breaking the bank, it's a solid pick. The functionality is just as good as any Akai accessory.

Great power
I used it for my MPC ONE for music. It came with a12v but was telling me I couldn't do updates due to limited power source so I upgraded to this 1. Worked soon as I connected. Good quality too. Worth it.

Charges but doesn’t fit MPC Live
Confirmed that this does charge the MPC Live. However, as others have said, the barrel plug doesn’t push all the way in. This apparently doesn’t affect charging, but it’s definitely not ideal. Choose another product.

What he needed but...
Ordered for Hubby's music equipment as replacement. He says the adapter fit is not snug rather loose. Obviously any type of electronic adapters or plugs must be tight in order to receive maximum benefits. His music equipment is his santuary and outlet after work. Wish quality would have been better and hope company can rectify may just be defect.

Not a good replacement for factory plug
This charger does not fit the mpc live. The plug hangs about halfway out of the port. I would not recommend this product.

Akai MPC One/Live: NOT a Good Barrel Connector Fit
Incorrect barrel size connector for the Akai MPC One or Live. Does not make a solid connection. It is longer and more narrow than the OEM PSU.
