  • Finally, sprung for the pedal
style: DP-10 Pattern Name: Pedal
I've been using the pedal that came with my Roland FP30 since I was trying not to spend more money. After a couple of years of it sliding around the floor and not being where I think it is, I bought this pedal. I honest am not the type of player to make use of the half pedal feature, so I can't speak to that. It feels sturdy, works well. Perfect, really. ... show more

  • Works as it should!!

This pedal works as it should. When you press it down with your foot, you get sustain

  • Makes an annoying "click"
style: DP-10 Pattern Name: Pedal
This is a far superior pedal to the Roland DP-2 that comes with many of their electric keyboards. It also allows "half pedal", unlike the DP-2 (something that is above my very limited playing capabilities). But I had to send it back because it stops with a bang (well, more like a click) when depressed. So not only is the pedaling abrupt, it makes a noise. It drove me nuts in short order. Buyers might want to consider the M-Audio SP-2 sustain pedal which is cheaper and doesn't click. ... show more

  • Very Satisfied with this Pedal
style: DP-10 Pattern Name: Pedal
Works perfectly with my Yamaha keyboard (MO 8) which I didn't know if it would or not. Love the swing-out rubber panel - it keeps the pedal from chasing away from you, because your foot holds it down automatically as you play. I will never use any other kind of pedal now. It saves me from having to use gaffer's tape to tape my pedal down which is what I had to do in the past. ... show more

  • Any suggestions on how to keep it from sliding?
style: DP-10 Pattern Name: Pedal
I like this pedal however I wish it sustained the notes slightly more like a real piano. It also does slide and not stay in place for me. Recently I bought a Roland Juno-DS-88 keyboard MIDI and in the room where it is placed has newer laminate flooring. Any suggestions on how to keep the pedal from sliding? ... show more

The feel of the pedal is fantastic the reaction is also very nice the slide-out pad that keeps under your foot is also a nice touch. I had mine stop working after a couple of years and so I purchased this new one on Amazon still a fantastic pedal but the durability could use and Improvement
