I wanted a weighted plush for a while and decided to give this elephant a try. His name is now Mr. Phants and I really really like him. There are beans in all the feet and a large pouch in the stomach that can be removed with the zipper on the side so you can put it in the microwave or freezer (I haven't tried either though so I can not vouch for how well that goes). The weight is very nice for hugs and snuggling and the fur is super soft! He's been in my bed for about two weeks now and I genuinely think I've been sleeping better because of it! It came a little squished but it fluffed up nicely after moving it around a bit. i thought i'd be able to hold it while i sleep, but it's a bit too big to use it for that purpose. now it's purpose is to be a really cute decor piece. the stitching has been good so far, the color is exactly as pictured. i've had it for a year and a half and it's come on 2 moving journeys with me and has not had any tearing or seams coming apart, so it's 100% worth the money if you need this for anxiety and to just set it on your chest to help ground yourself. ... show more

Bought my youngest daughter a similar one from another place. Even though I read the sizing on the listing I didn’t realize how gigantic it truly would be. I was not taking into account the weight of the one I got her and was picturing it would be closer to double its size. However I was very wrong but love it and am glad it is 5lbs as I have found the lighter ones feel almost weightless to me. After reading some other reviews I was nervous and a little hesitant to order as I saw in the description that it was supposed to have a zipper compartment with a removable and heat/cooling pack. In some reviews I read that the dinosaur came without those features and some with seam splitting. As for the weight of the dinosaur I saw a few people talking about the weight distribution being odd or all in one area. The one I have seems to be very well distributed through the four legs and on the underside from head to tail. It does shift some at times but it usually stays fairly distributed and this didn’t surprise me as I already had the company’s black cat and highland cow. As seen in one photo I attached, I took a picture of the highland cow next to the blue dinosaur for size comparison. My girls and myself will sit or lay with them and enjoy the weight and the packs inside. The heating in the microwave has been a wonderful thing the past few months as this winter has been brutally cold for our area compared to the mild winters we’ve been having. From getting 4/4.5 feet dumped on in a couple days to negative temp weather they’ve been great for the extra warmth and cuddles when we were stuck inside for days at a time compared to our normal schedules. ... show more
