A friend brought this product to my attention. I had to overcome the name before I, out of curiosity, placed my order. I’ve spent over 30 years in marketing and believe this is the worst name for a product I’ve ever come across. It even has a stink symbol above the name. This is why I had to try it; I never bought a bottle of stink before. My colleagues and I don’t get the name, MiStink. The prefix “mis” means bad. Stink means to emit a strong foul odor. Is it something clever that we don’t understand? The word literally means bad stink. Competitors are selling a miracle (Nature’s Miracle), magic (Pooph) or freshness (Furry Freshness). This company is selling bad stink? Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe bottles of MiStink are flying off store shelves with the name. Tip o’ the hat to the people marketing this product; I admit I’m not up to that task. But anyway, I’m impressed by how well the product works. I sprayed it on a stain on a mattress, let it soak for a few minutes, wiped the area with a damp cloth and the stain came out, without any residual smell. I’ve used products that clean better but they had overpowering chemical smells. I used it to clean the litter box and the odor was completely gone. I like the idea that it’s a natural product that works and doesn’t leave me gagging from the chemicals. I would recommend MiStink to a friend. I’m giving it five stars, based on how well it works, not the terrible name.

We have mostly been using this for when our female dog gets a little over excited a piddles a little bit when someone comes over, or a couple of time when our other dog managed to gag himself with a toy and spit up a little bit. For larger spots we use a portable carpet shampoo machine but it isnt worth grabbing for every incident. The product itself works well. I am pretty sensitive to strong perfume and cleaner smells, they tend to give me a headache easily. And my wife just has a very strong sense of smell. So we really liked that this cleaner does not have any added fragrances. the spots we have cleaned all cleaned up well. The dogs do not revisit or sniff at these locations which shows that it works correctly to break down/remove the enzymes that dogs smell in the urine that tells them it is a spot other dogs have marked territory, etc. Being that it is a natural product I dont mind that the price is a bit higher than what you can get some other chemical based cleaners for. We have kids and dogs so keeping excess chemicals away from all of them is a good thing. Overall I am happy with the product and would recommend it to someone looking for a natural pet stain cleaner.

I tried this stuff because I bought a cheap bottle of pet stain and odor remover at a dollar store, to get the smell of my two dogs out of the car seats; its smell was more potent than the original dog odor. It didn’t clean at all, not any better than water. I first tried an ozone generator. It worked great but the smell came back after a few weeks. So far, this stuff seems to have worked. I didn’t have any pet stains to try it on but it did remove the light grease from my stove top, after letting the MiStink soak for a few minutes. So, I know it’s not just water. I like the fact that it doesn’t have a fragrance and seems to work as a cleaner. Its price is comparable to the top selling brands on Amazon. One brand of stain and odor remover sells for $35.00 bottle. I like safe and natural but I’d use stuff with toxic fumes before I spend $35.00 a bottle.

I've got 3 dogs and with that comes vomiting and occasional accidents I need to clean up. We've rarely had a problem with odor and since installing new hardwood floors, even less. We still do have occasional accidents on our area rugs though, so we need cleaner like this. We have some cleaner designed for carpet stains that we normally get at the dollar store and it does a pretty good job with stains and MiStink does an equally good job with stains. The dollar store version, though, doesn't do much with odors (and it kind of smells bad tself, if we're being honest). While I haven't had a chance to test this on any accident with odors, I can say that MiStink (despite the odd brand name suggesting otherwise) does not stink at all like the dollar store stuff. I'm glad to have this in the house. Because of the price difference between this and other cleaners, I'm probably going to use this judiciously. If it's a small spot in the corner of the living room that can air out without bothering anyone, maybe the dollar store stuff. If there's vomit in the bedroom in the middle of the night, I'm grabbing this because I don't want to smell the vomit or the stinky carpet cleaner while I'm trying to go back to sleep.

This stain and odor eliminator had me intrigued with its promise of tackling pet stains and odors around the house. Upon giving it a try, I noticed that it has a slight scent reminiscent of very weak Windex, which wasn't unpleasant but didn't particularly stand out either. It does say unscented so that's true to its listing. However, the real issue for me was the wait time. The instructions recommend waiting 5 to 10 minutes for the product to work on regular stains and over an hour for tougher odors. As someone with a busy schedule, I found this wait time to be inconvenient and impractical. Don't forget to shake every time before using! While I did follow the instructions and found that the product worked adequately, I couldn't shake the feeling that I could achieve similar results with a simple white distilled vinegar and water mixture in a spray bottle for a fraction of the time. While this product did get the job done, its lengthy wait times make it less appealing for me as that was not described properly in the listing.

I am impressed with this product all natural ingredients. I feel it is safer than a chemical laden product especially for use when children are around. Unfortunately, the tradeoff is that it doesn't work quite as good as the toxic stuff but what is more important? A chemical free home or a little stink? I love that this is unscented too. It didn't get both the odor and the stain out 100% but it still did a good job. I find it works better if used immediately on fresh pet accidents.
