I recently saw Third Eye Blind at Red Rocks (great show as always) and they played about 4 or 5 songs of their set with acoustic instruments. If you like acoustic music, you'll like this CD. The versions of these songs are phenomenal! I feel like they took their classics and somehow reinvented them for 2022 while still preserving the integrity of their original sound. This may be one of the best “unplugged” albums I’ve ever heard. A lot of artist get tired of performing and singing their hits, but this album is such a fresh take on these songs you can feel the passion they put into this project. First off let me first say I am a huge 3eb fan. Coming off the last album “our bande apart”(to which I was sorely disappointed) I was hoping to find greatness in stripped down acoustic versions and let’s just say there are way better options than this release. Honestly it just sounds like a poorly produced covid/pandemic quarantine attempt. There are fans that will disagree and that’s ok, to each their own but for me it is a hard pass. ... show more

I love this CD! 3EB is one of my all time favorite bands and this mellow acoustic CDis awesome! Run, don’t walk to buy this CD, as it’s one of my favorites I’ve purchased in quite some time. The sound is awesome on it too. If you love 3EB like I do, it’s a must have in your collection.
