It fit the bill! Very strong steel for the hatch and pin. I didn’t realize it was magnetized and thats a great idea! It’s very strong and works great when pulling my water barrel to push down mole trails. Much better price too, dealer wanted 35.00 just for hatch, I also got the pin for less than half.

The bolts were too large for my Bad Boy MZ Magnum zero turn. I recommend planning on getting some smaller class 8 bolts if you want to order this one. Otherwise I love the magnetic hitch pin. But unfortunately the wagon I want to pull with it has holes too small for the hitch pin to fit, so I have to use the pin that came with the wagon for it. Maybe I'll find something else that the hitch pin will work with, but when not pulling something the hitch pin will stay in there, no cotter pin needed. I believe the hitch is strong enough for my planned purpose. But I've yet to load the wagon down for a good test run. But it pulls the lightly loaded cart around just fine, time will tell. But it's a generic hitch not specifically designed for the BB ZT mower. For $8 more I could have gotten the real thing with only two holes properly spaced without bolts or hitch; which did not work for me anyway. So I just saved $8 by having extra holes in the hitch bracket. Had I known this I probably would still get this one because there's still a chance I'll find a use for the magnetic hitch pin and the bolts that came with it.🤷

4.5 stars. mounting is easy and allows a somewhat universal mount. seems durable for now. docking half a star due to the actual pin. it is just a hair too big for everything that i own. it does not fit in standard pin hole on 3 different tow behinds, which is unfortunate bc i like the design. i just have to use the pins that came with the equipment.

We needed a hitch for our Scag Patriot zero turn and this fit perefctly. Holes matched up with the OEM installed location; Scag bolts reused. This hitch is very well made, excellent paint job, but not quite Scag orange (didn't expect it to match). The hitch pin is magnetic and well made. Very happy with the product. Update 4/22/25 - after pulling my lawn roller 4 different times, the hole in the hitch has become elongated. Makes me think the steel is not hardened enough. The hitch will probably last another year but will most likely need to be upgraded.

It was an easy installation process on the steel back plate of my Husqvarna riding mower. It is made of heavy gauge metal and should be able to handle the weight of tow behind equipment such as a fertilizer spreader.
