Wires are Polarity sensitive devices are those which require only a specific polarity of magnet to get them actuated. You can run high or slow. Installed two in fireplace will post video Saturday. I only used High. black wire and white wire neutral. Questions feel to ask.

Arrived with fan blades broken. Fans are cheap and flimsy. Won't withstand the rigors of working in a fireplace. Order them if you want. Waste time and have to pay for return shipping.

    • This was a direct fit to replace 45 year old fireplace fans, on an old heatilator.
This was a direct fit to replace original 45 year old fireplace fans, on an old Heatilator type fireplace. I just removed the bracket and re-used the mounting screws from the original fans, bolted right up!

Received the fan box in a white bubble wrap envelope. Looks like it was roughed up in shipping. Broken box, all mounting brackets bent, and some touching fan blades, red wire smashed. I needed the fan quickly, so I repaired the bent brackets, otherwise I would have returned it. This was the second fan I purchased, the first one was all good, no problems. I have an older woodstove and had a really hard time finding one of these fans. This was a exact match to the ones that i had in the blower. I was so happy to find this on here. Its been in the blower a few months now and I have had no issues. If the other one goes out i will order from here again!
