We got a new sound system from amazon and didn't wanted to put the surround sound speaker on the wall. We decided to get portable speaker stands so, we can move it / adjust the height as needed. they work well and there is wire hiding method too so, your speakers look wireless.

The stand is work but not stable even with the brackets they provided, you can accident nock down the speaker easy.

nice looking speaker stands, easy to assemble. you can fill them with sand to make them heavier and deaden any vibrations from speakers.

Easy to assemble, functional, good price

Even if these speaker stands might not win a beauty award, the main component we appreciate is the substantial strength and ability to support speakers that ARE heavy, just as described. All of the bolts and screws which hold it together are anchored into metal threaded inserts---NO plastic threads or inserts. Due to this feature, I can safely tighten the bolts and screws without fear of stripping-out MDF screw-holes. Once assembled, each stand actually DOES sit steady, with NO ROCKING. The built-in LED lights are a nice touch, even though they are not particularly bright. The one thing I would change, if I could, would be to increase the width and length of the top platform. Overall, these have been a nice addition!
