This stand does one thing, and it does it well -- it lifts the HomePod Mini off the surface maybe about an inch. It is well made and looks nice. The only downside is the cost. I really debated whether or not to get this one or a cheaper alternative. However this looked much nicer than the cheaper alternatives and I am very happy with it.

This stand is sleek, well made, and a wonderful way to add extra lift (and some modern flair) to your HomePod mini. I had been eyeing this for a while but had my mini in a different stand and didn't find it necessary to switch stands. However, my previous stand began having issues so it was time for an upgrade! I am extremely happy with my purchase and liked that I didn't even need to unplug my mini to get it situated on the stand. Very convenient and elegant!

Let's just get this out of the way up front: Yes, this is pricier than most of the HomePod Mini stands you're likely to find out there. Yep. It's hand-assembled in Germany, and with small, finely machined parts, etc, etc... As I only have the one speaker, I didn't feel too bad about picking up this stand. If you have multiple HomePod Mini speakers, and you want one for each of them, then you may wish to weight the cost a bit more closely. Your own personal preference and value judgement will hold more weight here than any random review from a stranger on the internet. Quality wise, this little stand is very well assembled and the finish is very nice. The "Black Walnut" colored stain, even though the underlying wood is Oak, perfectly matches the stain of my desk, so I am very pleased. I've noticed a small difference in sound quality, once the speaker was lifted off the desk, but I haven't had enough focused listening to be able to tell if it's only the "power of suggestion" or if I'm actually hearing things a bit better. The cork pads on the bottom of the legs keep the stand from sliding across the desk. I think my only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to investigate a better option for mounting the HomePod Mini into the stand... currently there is a circular cut-out that the speaker simply sits down into. There's no attaching of the stand to the speaker, which means that if you DO happen to bump the speaker with any force, it occasionally will slightly cant in the stand. Not a deal-breaker as I don't plan to bump into the speaker on a regular basis, but something to be aware of. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

Lets just get this out of the way. This is not real walnut and not worth over $30. That being said I still love it, Thus the 5 stars. It really adds a look to the homepod mini that looks premium and very "mid century". I would only recommend this item though if you care more about look then price. Its not really needed, but $36 for the style was worth it to me.
