i've bought a lot of crappy sim cards from resellers over the years so i think these folks deserve a shout-out for having a product that works as advertised. i've successfully used the card for 24 hrs so far. it works fine in my chromebook and i experimented with putting it an old iphone and setting it up as a hot-spot. my home internet is down for a week and this really got me out of a jam with a same day prime delivery! be sure to budget time for activation. the packaging says up to 3 days but i was online within 6 hours of filling out the web based application for activation. also for foreigners travelling to the u.s. be aware that t-mobile coverage is spotty but it works fine in all metro areas.

Never worked. Waste of money. Received an error sim not provisioned after going through all the steps with the vendor. Why is it so hard to get prepaid sims in the US. I travel frequently and never have problems outside of the us. In the US I have had companies carrier lock my phone tha I have owned outright for years.

This seems to be a very competitively priced sim card that was originally intended to be used in the u.s. by foreigners traveling abroad. I actually needed it for a wireless modem/router that works with the t-mobile network. So long as you consider the minimum activation period of 24 hours you shouldnt have any problem using it here in the United States. Great communication between the foreign company and I, which changed to emails with the American folks that handled the activation and made sure I was taken care of and happy. That to me means they are not going to leave any foreign tourists stranded without data, a long way from home.

I liked that this sim works on my unlocked portable hotspot. I was just skeptical about having to activate through the company who sold the sim not T-Mobile, but if you just email the sim and wait a day like I did the sim will be activated. But I don’t know why my portable hotspot keeps getting spam messages. It comes in a small envelope with a small note for instructions.

I bought this SIM card to use with a mobile hotspot after carefully checking the product description to confirm that it works that way. When I installed the card, the download speed was only 0.1 Mbps. I called T-Mobile to find out why, and after a half-hour wait, a customer service rep named Natalya said that the "plan I selected" doesn't work with mobile hotspots. I quoted her the product description (and the message from the tech support person who initialized the card) showing that the card does work with hotspots, and then she changed her mind and said that the reason the card is slow is that there's no T-Mobile service in my area. I reminded her that the T-Mobile coverage map shows that there's 3G, 4G, and 5G coverage at my exact address, and then she said that the tower nearest me is in the middle of "modernization" that is slowing down the speeds. She offered to install some updates on the SIM card, which eventually raised the download speed to 0.5 Mbps -- still far too slow for the video calls that I need to do for work. I asked to speak to her manager, and she said they would call me back because there is a "queue" for manager time, but it's been almost 24 hours and I haven't heard from a manager.

I purchased this sim for Colombia but it didn’t even get any network. When I returned to America it started working and I used maybe 5GB and now my card is deactivated because support says it’s only valid for 30days lol

Second time I bought this card because it was such a good service the first time I tried it. The hot spot data lasted me a long time and I only bought it for that. Really simple to install the card and got to the website to activate it. Unfortunately the card I just bought is bad. I followed all the steps like I did when I activated my previous card all I get is triangle in the upper right corner where the signal strength should be. . I contacted the customer service and the help number is a Puerto Rico cell number. But The lady on the end was very courteous and polite they sent me an email asking me to send screenshots of f my APN settings and a couple of other questions such as - have you tried the card in another phone. So after reading that I actually tried it at work and it had the same result as my phone. I don't think they intentionally sell bad cards but they probably have a lot of damaged sim cards so its something to consider before making a purchase from this seller.
