They are very breathable. The material is a little thinner than I usually prefer for my socks, but they feel strong enough. If this style of sock is what you're looking for, they're made well. They'll be nice when it gets hotter!

    • Feels like nylon, too expensive
Hemp's potential as an alternative to cotton is largely unrealized. I'm working on the assumption that the product in question is indeed made from 53% true hemp, 42% organic cotton, and 5% nylon. Honestly, the socks feel more like a 60/40 nylon/cotton blend; something I would wear to work, not lounging around my house. I do like their feel, including texture, on my feet. The product listing states these are a single size, suitable for sizes 7-10. My husband tried them on his size 11 shoe foot, without difficulty. The claim of moisture-wicking for sweat protection may or may not be accurate. I haven't worn them long enough. Overall, it's an OK item, but it's definitely not worth the price. One special note: the product, as of this review, claims that a purchase includes 3 pairs. Yet, in another section of the same product information, it claims you will receive a single pair. It would appear that, in this case, the left foot doesn't know what the right foot is doing. ... show more

These hemp socks are very comfortable and sit at a nice height on the ankle (not quite a crew sock but higher than an ankle sock). I like the textural ribbing and detail on the socks.     • Some issues with these hemp/cotton/spandex socks
1) The product description says these single size socks are for men. I don't believe these will fit most men. These socks fit my 8.5 (39EU) lady feet perfectly, but the product is supposed to be for men. 2) The product listing says "3 pairs crew socks," for every variation of this product listed. The listings with one pair says three pairs. The listing with five pairs says three pairs. . . be careful what you order. I received a single pair of socks. 3) These have a synthetic-feeling texture that I don't like. I would only wear these to work, not to relax around the house. ... show more
