So, I was afraid they would be too narrow. I own 2 pairs of regular Birkenstock Gizehs and they fit me very well, (I guess I have wide feet) so since these are arrow width, I was skeptical. However, these fit nicely because they have that adjustable strap across the foot. Aside from that- the EVA material is actually comfortable! It’s like crocs, but required more breaking in. Like other Birkenstocks, it’s worth the few days of achy feet to have your shoes mold to your foot. These got softer quicker than regular Birkenstocks. I’d recommend these Madrid’s for hanging around the pool, and the house. It’s really great having a pair of Birks that can get wet! Also- I usually wear a size 7/7.5 women’s. BUT for Birkenstocks: all 3 pairs in size 6/6.5 (37) fit perfectly : ) ... show more

I usually wear 6.5 or 7 in shoes. I was sent 37 Narrow and they fit perfectly. They are literally my favorite summer sandal. These do need to be broken in a little so wear a band-aide where the straps are. I didn't and got blisters. Now that I have worn these everyday they are my comfy shoes.

Tried product on in store to find exact fit and found that it was much cheaper on amazon! I believe the item did come directly from Germany, but did not take long at all as some reviews stated. And, we got real, genuine Birkenstocks. As any birkenstock product, takes a little bit to get them broken in, but after that they offer a classic look with tons of comfort. ... show more

Description says womens BUT it is actual a men's size 9 NOT a women's size 9...EU 42. If you are looking for a men's size 9, they look great - appear to be real/well made and came quickly at a low price (as far as Birkenstocks go).

I have 3 pairs of the Arizona EVA style, and wanted to try something different. These hurt my feet across the toes and feel less substantial than the Arizona. They also seem more narrow than the Arizona style. I kept them though because they are very flattering on. They look really nice and it's great to have something to throw on that can get wet and that don't have any special requirements (e.g. don't get wet, don't leave in the sun) like the traditional leather/cork Birks. Fit as expected. I have plantar fasciitis and these provide good support. Love the lightweight and waterproof aspect of these sandals. Nice alternative to regular Birkenstock’s because these can get wet. Perfect to pack for vacation.
