A couple of things to keep in mind: You'll need a grown-up to help out when it's time to melt the soap, since it gets hot. My daughter (7 year old) and I did this product together because the wax gets hot she was afraid she would get burnt. The plastic mold is very easy to use, and the directions were easy to understand and follow. I do have to say, it was hard to alternate multiple colors quick enough so the wax wouldn’t harden. I did reheat the wax, but it stayed pretty chunky. Once that happened it was difficult to get it through the mold. It did clog the soap mold. Because it dried too soon in the pouring breaker , we didn’t quite have enough to complete the mold. I’m assuming if we did this craft frequently and did it several times, we could get it down to a science; however, you don’t get that many pieces of soap…So I don’t know that we will get it perfected.

This soap kit ended up being a great gift for my daughter for her birthday! Obviously make sure you follow all included directions to ensure the best results and best outcomes for your soaps, but I was surprised with the ease and quality output of the soap making process. The bright colors that are included made it so much fun for my daughter as well as all the scents and fun molds for her soaps. Being that my daughter was six, I obviously did have to help her throughout the entire process and would definitely recommend an adult helping anybody under the age of 9 or 10. But, I would definitely recommend this as a gift or fun activity to do along with your kids and make washing their hands fun during flu season!

Super cute & fun for littles. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but I looked at the colors and the scents and they were half full and then bubble gun scent was empty. There was nothing inside of the little bottle. Other than that super fun and my bonus daughter loved it.
