This is a great activity for children both big and small, even adults. It’s super easy to do, and worth the purchase. My children are6 to 11 and they made theirs themselves. The bottles are easy to squeeze the solution out of. They could be pointier so it could fit down in the smaller sections. The bucket that everything comes in is big enough to hold multiple different water elves at once. The clasps on the side of it holds the lid in place very well. It doesn’t come undone unless you do it. The variety of the molds are pretty good too. It would’ve been great to have the dolphin and turtle though. Also, they’re not tiny, but a great size for children to make themselves. The only thing an adult would need to do is mix the calcium lactate up for them. So if you’re debating on getting this, no more second guessing and get it. It’s a fun, fast, and friendly craft to do for and with your children.

I ordered this for my 9 year old and she is really excited to try it. You're supposed to be able to make little "squishy" little toys using the molds and glue. There's a ton of colors available and they're supposed to be glow in the dark. The directions seem simple enough so my kid would be able to make this toy by herself. I think a 7 year old or under would definitely need an adult to supervise. Overall, this is a unique toy that would occupy a kid for at least an hour or so. Worth the price.

I received this Magic Water Elf Toy kit in a fun, colorful box. The kit comes organized in a plastic container with 4 packets of powder mixture to mix in water. It also comes with directions, 8 different molds, gloves, brush, and all sorts or colored gels along with a net to scoop out the finished squishies. The plastic container doubles as a place to make the water elves. The kit is very easy to prepare and use with clear directions included. The finished elves are squishy and surprisingly do not break apart easily. The kids loved making this.

The Magic Water Elf Toy Kit is such a fun and creative activity for kids! My daughter loved squeezing the colorful gels into the molds and watching them turn into squishy little creatures in the water — it really does feel magical. The set is easy to use, and everything washes off easily. It’s a great mix of art and science and keeps kids entertained for a long time. Just know that the creations don’t last forever — once they dry, they shrink or lose shape, so they need to stay in water. Overall, it’s a super cute and engaging toy for creative play. Great for rainy days or as a gift for little artists! 🎨✨

I bought these because my kids are always into science type experiments and also love to craft. I have a 14 year old, a 12 year old and a 3 year old. I did this activity with both my 14 and 3 year old. It was primarily for my 3 year old but my teen loved it also. The set this comes in is impressive. It reminds me of the tie-die sets you can buy for kids. It came with plenty of colors, in a self contained box, with multiple molds. A few issues I found were: It comes with only one set of gloves. They are child sized but rip easily. There are enough colored gels to be used multiple times for multiple sessions. However there are only enough of the water additives for 2 sessions. There are only enough gloves for 1. It does state that you can save and re-use the water, but that would mean having a random open water container somewhere in your house. The molds have many pointy parts, and what I mean by that is that 'corners' (the tip of the dinosaur tail, the craps pinchers, etc) are too small of a space to easily get the gel in to. The instructions did not say how much water to use. It said to fill 2/3rds of a container of water and add the power, but that could be a bowl or a plastic tote, and it doesn't state how much actual water to use. Many of our creations did not solidify and I'm assuming it's because the container we used (the box it came in ) had too much water and not enough power. That could of been prevented if the instructions had of been more specific. Overall this kit is vast, the colors it comes with are plenty and give you a lot of variety. I think if someone read this review before using it, they'd know about the water/powder ratio and the molds and gloves issue wouldn't be too big of a deal. The activity in itself was very fun. Both of my kids enjoyed it and I did too. My 3 year old was easily able to do the activity with minimal help and that's a big plus for me. I would definitely recommend the activity kit to others but hope that maybe they start to include better instructions and more powder packs so that the kit can be used 3-5 times.
