    • Once a primer or gesso is applied, these are PERFECT for airbrushing. Better than canvass!

I do a lot of airbrushing and as anyone who uses acrylic paint on canvass or canvass board knows, liquid friskets just don't do the job! Paint still leaks underneath the frisket! HOWEVER, once I applied a primer to these boards, allowed the primer to dry overnight and then applied GESSO which I again allowed to dry overnight and then VERY LIGHTLY hand sanded with very fine sand paper and then applied the frisket and started airbrushing, the results were amazing! ZERO leakage with nice sharp lines where the airbrushed paint met the applied liquid frisket. Obviously these are more expensive than canvass or canvass boards but as my airbrushing artwork is increasing recently the extra cost is worth it. ... show more
