Pull out the clear tab near the on/off switch and you’re ready to go. The batteries are included and the Gnomes light up with just one click of the switch. Well crafted with plenty of spring time details including bunny slippers, carrots and an egg. They sit on a shelf, dangling their feet, or on a table. Soft, fuzzy beards and soft pink and purple pastel colours. They are precious decorations with the lights on or off.

I liked these two gnomes for decorations, but not for the ability to light up. They run on button batteries and the batteries don't last a long time. Also, the lights are rather dim looking. If you have replaced any button batteries lately, you know the cost is not worth it for the value. So - if you want them for decorations (with no light) only - buy them. But if you want to turn on the lights, I would advise you to skip the purchase and seek out other decorations that run on AAA or AA batteries.
