I read an article where you can turn a phone into a webcam. I don't put just any app on my main phone so I tried an old phone I had which was the crux of the article. No luck, too old. My tablet worked so the app was not the problem. So I looked at WiFi webcams and too expensive. Then I looked at unlocked phones. I found Umidigi! It was reasonably priced for what I wanted and the camera looked good. I got it and it works!! Hooray! Now I can watch the birds at my feeder over the winter from my office on the laptop. Always wanted to do this, but other ways were way too expensive. I am giving it a 4 star rating as I am only using it for one thing and can't give you any info on full operation. I have had this phone for a few days now. There is a bit of down side to this phone. first off the call volume is very low even when turned up all the way. the camera is terrible and does not focus well. Some of my text messages dont go through. Its slow to boot up but seems quick to move around apps. The screen looks good and the phone is of good size and weight.
