Just to start, that i am a fan of UMIDIGI products. I already have few phones and i am using their products for more than few years. Now coming back to UMIDIGI Power5. UMIDIGI phone software has eveolved and now its very stable, no bugs, no restarts, no apps closing for no reason. It is running the lastest android stable version, it has 128gb of storage plus a microSd slot. The battery is massive and it is long lasting, you can use it for two with one chaege. It is well built, no cracking sounds no button rattling, just fine. I can't stress enough how convenient is that a phone this cheap, with all this features comes with excellent software, no bloatware, no ads, no nasty surprises. Just insert your sim card and you are good to go. The cameras (wide and ultrawide) take fine pictures. In the box you get a clear plastic case, cable and charger. The plastic back seems to hide fingerprints, and helps with the grip, the tpu case also makes it easy to hold, which is very welcome gift as this is a thick and heavy phone (because of the big battery). I just love it, the screen is nice to look at, the long battery life is obviously the most remarkable feature, but being unlocked and compatible with all the carriers is also commendable. Cameras are decent, video can be more finicky, but still pictures are fine. Fingerprint is very reliable. The phone covers all the basics 3.5mm jack, radio, microSd, dual sim, usb type C, and everything works as it should be.     • A Great Value For A Cheap Phone
I've had my a5 for a while and was happy till I moved to Samsung, but coming back is still such a nice treat. The a11 has done a lot I like for half the price of higher phones, but lacks any feasters that either make it better to buy than other phone brands. I love how smooth it feels around the Os. I haven't had many issues booting and playing around (though it is an android phone, so expect some glitches here and there). The phone is Android 11 which is great to see considering that 12 is coming soon. The phone does lack NFC, which is a huge downside. The camera is not very impressive, but still takes decent photos. Overall, if you were to give this to your child or a friend as their first phone, they would not complain much. I give this an 8 out of 10 without brands of Samsung and Apple competing. If I include them, it gets a 7 because it almost has every feauter needed. ... show more

    • Seems like a step back from the Power 3
I've had a Umidigi Power 3 for nearly two years. It was a great phone. Unfortunately, AT&T will no longer support it, so I purchased a Power 5. The Power 5 doesn't seem to match the performance of the Power 3. It lags at times and some apps load/process slowly. Hopefully an update will fix this. The Power 3's camera is definitely better. I got lots of compliments on the pictures that I took with the Power 3, especially pictures taken in low light. Not thinking that will be the case with the Power 5. The other aspects of the phones are basically equal. Power 5 positives - Nice screen. I like the side fingerprint reader. Speaker quality seems a bit better. 128 Gigs of storage will be nice. I've read that it works with Verizon, I'm going to try that. I'll sure miss my Power 3. Update:. I set up my Power 3 with Mint Mobile, so I returned the Power 5. ... show more

This phone is excellent for its price. Battery life is great and it's very fast. Love the big screen and the huge memory option.     • Did not live up to the hype
I bought this to replace a 2018 Huawei Mate SE that had a swollen battery so large that the phone opened and the screen lifted off the device. The Umidigi Power 5 is less responsive, holds a charge for less than a day and could not maintain the connection with my network for more than a few seconds at a time. The screen is large and quite sharp. Wifi connectivity is great. The fingerprint reader and the thermometer were nice features but these are not enough for me to want to use this phone. I ended up getting the old Huawei repaired as it seems to be a far better performing phone. ... show more

I had F1 in the past. This phone is unfortunately much slower and miss many good features/functions that F1 used to have. my F1 has lived for 4 years until I broke it. I definitely would have returned this phone if thought of it on time. now 6 months in, I looking to switch to something better. this Power 5 "forgets" some set up. I bought this to replace the UMIDIGI 3A phone I got in 2019 which I used as a travel phone. It was only 16 GB, so the amount of apps I could download are limited. With this phone, I have the apps I need and want to use while outside the country. It worked great! The battery life is long. The fingerprint reader works well. The pictures are not bad, but I don’t use this phone to take my travel photos. I did not have any issues using it on my recent trip to Italy. I’m happy with this purchase. ... show more
