Having tested several different models of Umidigi phones, I am almost always impressed by how much they pack into a device for such a reasonable price. This one is no exception. The Note 100A is several notches above any other "cheap" phone from a non-flagship brand that I've tried. You get a pretty clean Android 14 system (no preinstalled bloatware), decent specs and impressive storage! Some models say the RAM is 8GB, which is not 100% true... it's 4GB RAM and an option 4 GB that can be borrowed from the storage. Nevertheless, it works reliably well for all my day-to-day apps and a reasonable amount of multitasking. At this price, you're leaving out some bells and whistles - no 5G, no NFC/tap-to-pay, camera is just OK. BUT if you just need a smartphone for everyday tasks - calls, text, email, browser, *decent* photos, scrolling through social media, and maps to get around..... this phone is more than enough. While setting up this phone and using it for a while to test out, I found no issues, everything I needed to do (again, everyday non-high-tech stuff) was smooth and fast. It worked perfectly with my carrier (T-Mobile). Despite having a multi-camera array that LOOKS impressive, almost like some flagship phones, none of them were very HD, especially when you zoom in. But they were better than any of the prepaid "burner" phones you can buy at the convenience store. And the design of the phone was slimmer, sleeker, more modern than what I'm used to seeing in other low-budget phones. Set moderate expectations, and this phone should be able to exceed them! ... show more

The Umidigi Note 100A has an attractive design with a slightly texture back that reduces fingerprint smudges, unlike some of the smoother surfaced (glass) phones. The 5000 mAH battery lasts more than a day of normal usage. It comes with 256GB of ROM, instead of the typical 128GB ROM in this range. Bright 6.8" IPS HD+ display (1600 X 720P) Adjustable 60/90/120Hz refresh rates. The 120 Hz refresh rate uses more battery life but allows for less screen lag. Support for MicroSD cards up to 1TB Support for two SIM cards albeit at the expense of the MicroSD card slot Works good for casual games with bright colors and good response, especially with the 120Hz refresher rate 2 MP Macro camera works well (see coin) and main camera is best in good lighting situations Fingerprint sensor is quick and responsive. I didn't use the Face unlock feature Bluetooth works good, with my headset starting to get drops at about 25 feet indoors and about 100 feet outdoors All things being considered, the Note 100A is a good value smartphone. ... show more

The UMIDIGI Note 100A is a phone that really gives you a lot of bang for your buck. It's got a big, bright screen that's perfect for watching videos and looking at photos. The camera is also pretty decent, especially when you've got good lighting. And the battery? Man, that thing lasts all day, no problem. Now, as for the downsides, fast charging would've been awesome. Waiting hours for it to charge is kind of a drag. And yeah, I've noticed the memory can get a little sluggish sometimes, especially if you've got a bunch of apps running at once. But hey, considering the price, you can't really expect it to be perfect, right? ... show more

Screen resolution is sharp, processor is snappy and switching between apps is incredibly fast and agile, and the battery lasts quite a long time with moderate use. Very pleased with the phone so far. Amazing value for money!

It comes with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, offering ample space for apps, photos, and videos. The smartphone features a 13MP ultra-clear dual camera setup, allowing users to capture decent photos in various lighting conditions. While it may not compete with higher-end devices, it suffices for casual photography needs. Buyers should be aware of UMIDIGI's customer support reputation. Some users have reported challenges in receiving timely assistance for device issues, I didn't find any type of manual for the phone other than a simple instructions on what each button does, took me a while to figure out how to turn on camera but I finally figured it out, it does have 2 sim card slots, and it says phone is unlocked, I haven't checked with my cell carrier Verizon yet if they will accept it. For a simple affordable Android smartphone it's worth the price. Update: I just called my Verizon and they say its not compatable with their network, so double check with your carrier, The carriers need to have IMEI number for the phone to see if its compatible, would be nice if they listed the IMEI number in the listing, would save some time. ... show more
