This bag won’t disappoint. I’m a diy’er and this bag is both large enough and compact enough to hold mostly everything I need. It has plenty of pockets. It’s very sturdy and unlike less expensive bags it doesn’t collapse when fully loaded.

I got this for my son who is going through an electrical apprenticeship program. He finds it very easy to use on the job site. The storage area is large and it’s easy to use. It’s pretty sterile built and I think it will be very durable over time. It was a good price for what it is.

I'm not a tradesman nor a handyman, just a DIY homeowner with a large collection of nice, high quality tools I want to keep separate from other tools. I have a nice collection of tradesman-quality Klein, Knipex, etc. electrical tools and I want to keep them organized and ready for electrical work when I need them. I searched far and wide, high and low, this and that. I was pretty close to just settling for a Toughbuilt or Husky bag similar to this and held off and thought about it. I decided to try this bag and I'm glad I did. This bag is tough, well-built and will no doubt last a 10-12 hour a day tradesman many years. It has enough pockets internally to put all your screwdrivers, nut drivers, pliers, etc. plus small meters, tubing cutters, small parts containers. There's enough pockets on the outside to organize your most-used tools like linesman, strippers, diagonal cutters, screwdrivers, etc. There's a pouch for a small parts container, areas to clip small bags to, tape measure, etc. I used to keep all my tools in a typical electrician's pouch and wear a tool belt. I feel like this is a better option, allowing you to use the nicely padded shoulder strap to tote the bag to your area, then you can load up your jean pockets and such with the tools you need right there. The plastic bottom is a thick, hard shell that will last years of being set/dragged on concrete, expanded metal boom baskets, etc. ... show more

This thIng is perfect for service calls. The zipper pouch is large enough to hold my multi meter. There are enough pouches on the outside to hold the seven tools/items I use most often and don’t want to have to dig for them. The inside pout he’s are a bit deep for screw drivers so I stuffed a dit of rolled up cloth down to the bottoms of the pouch’s that’s needed it. The open areas hold my battery drill/small box of parts and a small box of driver hex-tips. It looks good and it’s not to heavy to lug around a costumers house... What more could ya want? My basic thought on the bag is it “looks” sturdy and “seems” durable... but only time will tell that story which will in turn determine value. If I haven’t updated this in a year I’m either happy with it or I won the lottery. ... show more

I ended up returning this as it was a bit tall for all my wire strippers and small screwdrivers. Very sturdy well-made fabric and straps, although the bottom was one large plastic piece that made me nervous. May not survive a very hard fall, but given I didn't keep it I'm not sure. It's the same bag as one of my peers use so I'd recommend it if it's what you're looking for, just not exactly what I needed. ... show more

I’m trying to limit my comments and Pics to things that are not already mentioned in other reviews. Pros -Durable, at 1680 denier vs. 600 denier in my previous bag. You get what you pay for. (Denier is thickness of individual thread used, a higher number is bulkier and a harder wearing fabric) -Pockets of variable depth 8” and 5”. Understand there is no room for power tools, this is a hand tool bag -Center pockets are tight which holds most screwdrivers at the base of the handle, which keeps the sharp points from wearing a hole in the bottom of the pocket - very nice. -Zipper pocket about 9.5” W 5.75” H x 1” D; One Driver Bit & Nail set storage pocket w/Velcro closure -The bag fits in a Ridgid Tool “Crate” 11 ” Wide, where I store it. -Measuring tape clip sits high up on the bag so it does not pop off when placing the bag on the ground. Electrical tape loop is very handy -Two Flexible handles open up the top for finding a tool and accessing it - Shoulder strap is included -Two Flexible handles make a heavy bag harder to carry than a “rigid bar” handle. (I like the access to my tools with these two handles that fold out of the way). The included shoulder strap solves this issue. -I wish it had a thick plastic lined pouch for chisels (so I need to keep them in chisel covers) -One or two 3” deep pockets would be nice for allen wrenches, band-aids & other short things. For now they have to go in the zipper bag, -Price is higher than some, but a much stronger bag with far better storage than my less expensive bag. Definitely worth it ... show more
