The media could not be loaded. Decent phone and value for the price. This is a decent phone. It has fingerprint sensor and face recognition, which is good for less than $90. It has Android 14, and I like the visuals. It has transparency effects, which run smoothly. Other even mid-level phones like the Xiaomi Poco M6 Pro 4g lack this feature, which is more expensive. I am not aware if Android 14 has the two slide down options- notification/quick settings as default like an option from the One UI 7 from Samsung and HyoerOS Xiaomi phones, but the Umidigi G9x does as you can see in the video, and for me this is a plus. Umidigi phones lack updates within the years, but as a tech enthusiast I like buying affordable phones every 6 months or a year and experiment and use the new features offered by Umidigi, so getting a phone for less than $90 is good even if updates are missing. I wish that in the future Umidigi adds a transparent dock style for arranging favorite apps. I've been using this phone for a week and the reception signal is good, call quality is good, text messaging is good, data and Wi-Fi internet usage is good. And battery does last for fair use. The camera is good in good light conditions, but not in the night, it's decent if you're not using the camera for professional level photos. I am a Umidigi fan, I hope in the future they releaae a phone or a tablet with a Pressure Sensitive stylus. Also, I like that the G9x has 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio, and that it has SD Card expansion slot. I've using the Umidigi G9x for over a week and I am already waiting for the next smartphone release option I'll be buying from Umidigi.

Loving this phone! I had an older model of umidigi phone and this is a huge upgrade, feels much more responsive and faster while using it. If you’re looking for a phone that will get the job done without breaking the bank I recommend it!!

As a grown adult this phone is not what I'd look for in a main phone. It does run fast, does video fairly well, decent sound from the speakers. It does bluetooth and all the basic functions efficiently. There are no bells or whistles on this phone. No widget options which really bugs me. Fortunately, I can keep it as a spare, and for that it works really well. It would do well as a low cost first phone for kids so that they can establish that they can handle the responsibility of a phone or for someone that only wants the most basic functions. For what it does it is an excellent cost at around $90.

The media could not be loaded. After having the phone for 2 days, I can say that it is in competition with most American flagship phones. There are no differences between the Samsung Flip7 I've been using on a daily for some weeks now and the Umidigi G9x. It is truly magnificent

Listen I'm no cell phone expert- however, I got this for my granddaughter after I fully tested it out. It's a good Android phone i suggest this more as a first phone for your teen or pre-teen because if they break it you're not out 1000 bucks or more. But as far as quality goes the pictures look good and it works like any other Android. Its reasonably fast not that a milla second counts to most people. My ONLY grip is finding a case for it, i did find one though. so i do reccomend this cell phone it works good and the price is great. This met every expectation i had for this cell phone so im not dissapointed at all with it.
