After reading a couple of reviews I was concerned that this product wouldn't be as good as I hoped, but I bought one red dispenser about 1 month ago and it's been excellent. The color is perfect to offset my bland white kitchen and the pump has worked without fail. This soap dispenser holds almost twice the amount of soap of the decorative soap dispensers I had used and the size, shape and weight makes it far more stable than any that I've used in the past (other than wall mounted dispensers). I'm ordering 2 more today (1 white & 1 black)for my bathrooms because they're so stable that they'll save my vanity wall to wall mirror from cracking any further. The tall ceramic soap dispensers I now have bump into the mirror almost every time I use them and created small cracks in the mirror from constant contact. The shape and stability of the "Umbra Joey Ceramic Soap Pump & Scrubby Holder" will prevent any further contact between my soap dispenser and the vanity wall mirror, hopefully saving my mirror - which will make this product well worth the price. ... show more

I received this item quickly and in great shape. The color is perfect red, it's a nice large size and I like the little "pouch" on the back to hold the scrubbie. It's easy to fill and pumps very well. I had a small clear dish soap original bottle that I found myself constantly re-filling and also searching for red dish soap to make it blend in with my kitchen decor. Red dish soap is not the easiest to find so I decided to try and find a red ceramic pump so I could use whatever soap was on sale. This fits the bill exactly! It holds a lot of soap, so I won't be filling it continuously and an added bonus is I'm no longer "losing" my scrubbie down the drain into the garbage disposal because I leave it in the sink since I don't want it out on the counter. No more shredded scrubbie!! It now has it's own place to rest. ... show more

Got the charcoal grey. Looks great. IT IS HUGE. One and half bottles of dish soap. Also if you put the sponge in the at a slant in stead of vertically, it won’t be sitting in its own gross water.

I got this pump several months ago and I really like it. It looks great! The pump seems to be made out of metal and is sturdy enough for one handed pumping. I use it with the blue Dawn dish soap and it does not leak. I think it helps me use less soap than if I were to pour it from the bottle. We use the standard, yellow sponge and they fit just fine in the holder (it came with a black plastic scrubby but we never used it). The only problem is that there is no draining hole on the bottom of the holder so if the sponge isn't rinsed and squeezed out after every use, the dirty water collects and the sponge starts to smell. I didn't have that problem before my boyfriend moved in! ... show more

Wanted to respond to all the reviews that said their nozzle fell off quickly. I've had mine for almost a year and use it continually every day and the nozzle is still on. But I do have a favorite soap dispenser for my bathroom for years. I've put them in my guest bath too. But the nozzle falls off them almost as soon as I start using them. It's a simple fix. I just use whatever glue I have around the house. Apply the glue to the end of nozzle that goes into the lid (make sure to only apply glue on the OUTSIDE of the nozzle so as not to clog the nozzle hole). That is usually a permanent fix for all my soap dispensers. Hope this helps. In every way I love this dispenser, especially the color. ... show more

This item, as reported by other reviewers, is a bit larger than it looks, and did not fit on my kitchen sink ledge. It's also a shade lighter red than the picture. The ceramic part is well made, but the pump is chrome-finished plastic - if there's any "stainless steel" in it, as described, it must be the ball bearing in the pump valve. The pump leaks a small amount of soap around the base where it meets the ceramic. I put it in my guest bathroom with liquid hand soap when I realized that it was unworkable in the kitchen.It's attractive looking, but not as good quality as I hoped for. ... show more

EDIT: Downgraded this to one star because the always flimsy pump stopped working. Also realised that it's plastic and just coated to look shiny. This is NOT stainless steel. Don't be fooled by the description. Even more so the pump began to rust within a month's time. Even better, I've been using it for 5 weeks and the pump doesn't work any more. It was a hassle to use before since it took multiple pumps for it to dispense a little soap in the first place but now, as much as I pump, nothing comes out. Also, it still leaks. Look elsewhere if you want a soap pump the you'll actually use. It's a pity, because the ceramic part is so nice. Original review: Three Stars This is a gorgeous soap pump. A little bigger than expected and the colour is perfect. My only issue with this is that for whatever reason, it leaks even though it's not filled right up to the top and the pump mechanism feels a little flimsy. ... show more
