we bought the large because it's as close to my size as we could find. i'm actually somewhere between the medium and large, this one being slightly longer at at 8.25" (realistically useable length). do a quick wash before use, there's some residual release agent on all new toys. after that's removed with simple warm water and mild soap there's no smell at all. "Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Magic Soap Liquid Baby Unscented" (light blue label, B000HK1OOY) works better than anything else we've tried for toys. it's soft like the real thing where it needs to be; so it's comfortable to use even when you're wiggling around with it. and since it's not a huge toy the suction cup works great horizontally or vertically. she likes it for front or back making all kinds of things possible. we took some pictures and from a short distance away it looks like the real thing. so this would be a pretty good one for streamers.
