Believe the reviews. This item is worthless.
The moment I saw this item, I knew I had to jump at the chance! When it came in the mail, I was ready to surprise my wife with a new toy...or so I thought. I read previous reviews to make sure I wasn't wasting my money. Call it arrogance, but I do work in customer service and consider myself smarter than the average joe. I thought for sure that those who wrote the bad reviews may have overlooked a detail or were simply in a hurry. Boy was I wrong; I poured over every single detail in the instructions, I read, re-read, practiced timing scenarios, EVERYTHING. It was all going well until I had to mix the molding powder with the water in a small bowl. You literally have a 60 second time window in which to combine 98° F water with the Molding powder. I was aware of this, so I prepared to spring into action. Right when that powder hit the water it started clumping and hardening within 30 seconds. The mix as designed is supposed to be lumpy like pancake batter. So I'm stirring madly, trying to coerce the powder and water to mix to the right consistency. This is where it all started falling apart. Let me break it down for you. 0-09 seconds - molding powder hits the water 10-19 seconds- stirring powder mixing 20-29 seconds- mix begins to clump in certain areas 30-39 seconds- stirring intensifies to even out mix (this is not working) 40-49 seconds- I realize the mix is not only clumping but starting to harden (activate panic mode) 50-59 seconds- I pour my half water half lump mix into a oil funnel (to prevent from huge mess) molding hardens in oil funnel (are you F***ing kidding me?!?) :60-1:19- QUICK PLAN B! Pour remainjng NON-hardened mix into tube. Mix in tube begins to solidify (F***!!!!) 1:20-1:30 - [Still in denial] I shove my *ahem* "Willy" into tubing (which was measured and precut mind you). No good, mix is already hardening. So basically I'm using my "Willy" as a stir stick on something that looks and feels like giant hardened cottage cheese curds. 1:30-1:40- pants-less in kitchen, taking in aftershock of what just happened. 1:40 - 2:00 - [silence; still in shock and disbelief] After - 10 minutes - finish cleaning up disaster area from previous event. So longer story shorter, I now in hindsight give more accreditation to the previous reviews. They are largely in part accurate. And believe me, I'll be asking for my money back.

success!!
the negative reviews had me scared. i think that fear drove me to success. my bf works night shift and sometimes when i’m in the mood, he is not. but i don’t just want a dildo, i want him. so i thought what better way to have him, than to just turn him into a dildo for when he isn’t up to it but i am. reading the reviews, i was scared that i would mess this up. i had tried the hand casting craft a while ago, and failed miserably because i mixed for too long, i thought this would be the same. i thought wrong. i read negative reviews and positive reviews and took into consideration where people failed, and where people succeeded. i bought extra molding powder in case i messed up the first try, and extra silicone incase what was included was not enough. i studied the directions hard and watched the how to vids. when it came to it, i mixed the molding mixture until it was just combined, but also not TOO clumpy, the directions said clumps are still ok. i didn’t even count, just mixed until i felt it was ok. so in a panic, i poured it into the tube as quickly as possible and handed it over to my bf. it took less than 2 minutes for the mold to harden and it turned out smooth and perfect. the extra silicone was supposed to come a day late, so i was just gonna let the mold sit overnight until it got here and then i’d fill it, but my bf was adamant that we just try what it came with, so i did. he is JUST under 7 inches and the silicone filled up ALMOST all, would’ve left an extra inch off. i had no plans of using the vibrator, BUT adding it filled in the rest of the mold that the silicone alone couldn't, so i inserted it anyways. now time to wait. hate that part. we finished the activity around 1:30 pm, and i got too excited and took it out of the mold at 6 am the next morning. it was fully hardened, but i’m still not messing with it until it hits that 24 hour mark. safe to say it turned out perfect. i absolutely love it. now i have extra molding powder and silicone though, so i may just save the tube and do another one. sorry for the long review, but all in all, just make sure to read instructions AND REVIEWS. mix till you feel is right, make sure water temp is perfect, HAVE HELP, and have fear about failing. you’ll be alright.

this ruined my marriage.
made me realize how infinitely small my penis was, my self confidence was shattered and upon realizing this horrendous truth, my wife of 16 years left me. my kids wont talk to me, this product ruined my life. so there i was, coming home from a long trip in europe, and i wanted to spice up my marriage by trying to do something wild or adventurous. woe was i, when upon sliding my member into the lukewarm mold, did i slowly come to realize that by replicating myself, i eliminated the need for me to be around for my wife to be satisfied, but unfortunately when i realized this, it was too late. my penis was cemented into this plaster tube of regret. after immediately going limp and being able to slowly remove my flaccid shame. i contemplated throwing the mold away. but instead, driven by a half mad curious desire to see a 3D model of my once pride and joy, i dutifully mixed the rubber and filled the mold as carefully as i could muster. impatiently waiting for the mold to dry, i finally freed willy from his concrete tube. and cried. i had realized in that same moment that my penis was not the illustrious 8 inches my wife had continually reminded me ritualistically for the past 16 years. i measured it half nervous, expecting to be surprised pleasantly by my fearful early judgement, only to be cruelly reassured that my 3 inch member had much to be desired. i debated on whether or not i should present this embarrassing idol of mockery to my wife, but reluctantly did so as she walked in on me trying to flush it down the toilet. she stared at it for a few moments in silence, i could see the past 16 years of our marriage slowly flicker across her distant eyes. finally she drew in a short breath and looked me in the eyes and said the words every man dreads to hear after presenting such a vulnerable object of intimacy. "what do you want for dinner?" in disbelief i cried out, "is that all you ever think about!?" i pulled up my pants in an awkward moment and stormed out of the house. i havent been back since. Men, if you value the precious but delicate balance that is your marriage, never create irrefutable evidence that your penis is shorter than what you may have ever boasted about prior. btw this thing also creates air bubbles in the penis. so it looks like you might have had a herpes outbreak when you made the mold. not a good conv topic,

Made my gender dysphoria worse but did its job well
I'm a trans woman who will be undergoing gender reassignment surgery in the coming years, I wanted a token to remember this phase of my life by and a neat toy to use after I've healed from the procedure. The clone-a-willy kit does what it says on the box, it made an exact copy of my equipment. The only problem is that it's bigger than I thought and now my dysphoria is worse than it was. But that's not the product's fault. 5 stars. Things you should know: Follow the included instructions TO THE LETTER. Having a partner to help you with getting water to the right temperature while you focus on maintaining erection and preparing the rest is ideal. Take care to make sure your equipment doesn't press against the side wall of the tube while casting, ideally separate it from the side by at least half a centimeter. YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH SILICONE; avoid introducing air into the mixture while stirring, and pour it extremely slowly when adding it to the mold to allow those bubbles to pop as they slide past the rim of your disposable container. There's a reason professional manufacturers cure their toys in a vacuum chamber, those little air bubbles will affect the quality and hygiene of the final product.

Fun, easy, read directions, nothing is perfect first try but maybe close
This is my first time trying. I read the directions and a lot of reviews before attempting. I think my first attempt mold turned out great. Silicone is still setting up so I'll update after it's removed. Today is Dec 3rd. First if you're doing it alone like I did get everything set up within reach. Buy a set of rings to wear so you have the right size one and see that it works before attempting, if you go soft it won't matter how well you followed directions! I turned the water on kinda slow and made sure it was at right temp coming from faucet and left running. Put ring on and get good and excited, maybe have a video playing or whatever excites you most. Have separate timer if you're using your phone timer. Put down news paper, this doesn't come out of cloth material. I mixed in the 90° water and stirred for around 45 seconds, poured in the mold and quickly inserted. I touched the side and could see it but couldn't do anything about it after starting, I'll let you know about the finish product having this happen. (If you have a partner helping I'd suggest laying down and cutting the bottom of tube off and pouring it in. This would eliminate the need to cut to length as well as position would be easier. It feels strange but kinda good while it sets. Don't squeeze the mold while setting. I did mine standing and some spilt out into towel I had to throw away. It does peel up very easy once set and I wish I didn't put anything down. I shaved first decently and whenever there was hair it came off pretty easily and painless considering. This has a lot of water in the molding material so expect it to shrink some over that four hour dry before silicone mix. Mine did. I'm about 8" x1 1/2" but I have a feeling this is only going to be 5 1/2" usable with not much room around the vibe. I wasn't excited as could be which I expected and cut the tube shorter (only you will know if you can get and hold a big hard one while working on something as time restrictive as this instead of the "ah it's hard enough") pills might help? Biggest advice of all, go in light hearted and hope for an experience you enjoyed and learned from while not expecting off the shelf commercial quality perfection. It is your first time ever trying this after all right? Who is perfect doing anything there very first time. Good luck and enjoy. In case my update didn't go through. My first attempt was near perfect. There was a lot of little bubbles in it that made it kinda abrasive. Where I was touching the side it was shiny smooth which now make me think wearing a condom during would yield the best, smoothest finish possible. I may order more and try this. With a ring on your head will be very pronounced and let forgiving than normal which could be a good thing

Oh what a journey
Ok. So this requires a lot of preparation. I highly recommend 2 people.... possibly even a 3rd. We read all the reviews and watched lots of fail videos about it but still decided that we could conquer this. The first attempt was a complete and very messy fail. We had the water to the perfect temperature, ( Side note: I feel that some of the other reviewers may have been reading the included thermometer wrong. Make sure you are reading the fahrenheit side. ) the tube was cut and taped so as not to scratch him, we had everything set up so that we could go as fast as possible with timers set for every stage. So first of all from what I understand it is very hard to hold an erection while feeling under pressure from all these time sensitive steps. Finally with a little help from me and his favorite website he got to where he needed to be. I mixed the powder and water and stirred for 1 minute as described. It was very lumpy still when the timer went off but I went ahead and poured the mixture into the tube and proceeded to the next step which presented a logistical problem. The tube is full and he is standing... so I, being very aware of the time just tilted the tube and slapped it over his erection pushing it all the way to his body. In the process of this quite a bit of the molding material rained down onto the floor and all over his legs and feet. He tried really hard to maintain his concentration but the cold wet goo covering him did not help anything. We were still hopeful and waited the 4 minutes plus a little extra as a precaution. Removing the tube was not that fun for him either as he had not done any manscaping in preparation and it did stick a little bit. Once the tube was off we looked at what we had created. It was less than awe inspiring... There were clearly visible bubbles and not a very accurate impression had been made. While he cleaned up both himself and the floor in a 4 foot radius from where he had been standing I mixed the silicone material and poured it into the mold and then slid in and carefully positioned the included vibrator attached to a cardboard square as described. 24 hours later... We pulled the failure from the mold and were super disappointed that not only was it covered in lumps and pits but also the mold had warped a bit and it was shorter and thinner. Also the vibrator had touched the side of the mold and was visibly sticking out a little ways. No way would I ever be using that for anything. So... I am not easily deterred and came back on Amazon and ordered the Alginate powder that another reviewer suggested, a refill kit of the silicone material, some cock rings, and a natural performance enhancer. 3 nights later... I had him lay on the bed on top of towels. I cut both sides of the tube out so that it was open on both sides. He put on the cock ring and got himself to where he needed to be. I measured, poured and mixed everything ( by the way don't be afraid to use cold water with the alginate powder it will make it set slower ). I came back to him and placed the tube over him and poured the mixture into the tube and over his erection. Then kinda squeezed the tube a bit to make sure it covered everything. We waited 5 minutes and removed it. ( made significantly easier by him having done some manscaping ) and..... Perfect mold!!! No issues with mixing the silicone mixture. I do recommend that after you pour it into the mold you should come back about 1 hour later and pop all the bubbles that have formed at the top. 24 hours later and I now own a perfect replica of my mans "willy". It is awesome for those times when he isn't around. Also it was pretty fun even with the fails we were laughing quite a bit during the whole process.

Not good for bigger guys
I was super excited when I got this kit, as I'm currently in a long-distance relationship. However, I was concerned that the amount of rubber material for the dildo wasn't going to be enough. I decided to wing it, since even if I didn't have enough to make the full dildo I could at least save the cast to try again later. When the time came to finally cast my guy, we cut the tube to the length of his member (8.5 inches) then mixed the casting agent exactly as instructed and poured it into the tube. I noticed the material only came a little more than halfway up the tube. I figured maybe it would fill out the rest of the tube when we stuck his member in it. Once we did, however, it still ended up only covering about 3/4 of his penis, so I tried turning the tube sideways and rotating it as per the instructions. All this did was cause a small amount of material to leak. So we ended up sitting in vain with half his penis covered and the other half floating above the material, which failed to come anywhere close to solidifying after 2 minutes. In the end I wasted my money and made a bit of a mess on the carpet. This kit really needs double the casting agent, and the casting agent needs to WORK. Very disappointed, I was looking forward to using it and giving him personalized shows on Skype. The lack of material is especially frustrating since all of the pictures and diagrams seem to show pretty sizable members. Oh well, next time we might try the "Clone Your Partner" kit instead.

Just horrible
Got this as a fun little activity to do with my husband and it ended up being a huge disappointment. We set everything up exactly as the instructions said. I made sure the water temp was perfect, he pre cut the tube to the correct length. We were pretty much ready to go. I poured the water into the bowl per instructions, and then the powder in after that and immediately began stirring. Let’s also note that the entire time I’m stirring my husband must be “ready” to do his part in order to make this thing so he’s working on that lol. Almost immediately I noticed it was kind of chunky and not becoming smooth. I kept stirring for 45 seconds and then immediately began the next step of pouring into the tube. It became solid almost immediately. I wasn’t even able to get all of it into the tube as you can see a huge chunk fell out of the bowl and onto my counter top. It was almost immediately too hard for him to put himself inside the tube…and that was it. As far as I can see, we did not do anything wrong. I still dont understand why it didn’t work when for some people it worked perfectly. Luckily when I contacted Amazon they gave me my money back because this thing was basically a huge waste of money. Apparently it works for some people, so I guess if you would like to take the risk, try it out, but we won’t be attempting this again.
