My home has a NuTone central vac system. Pretty sure it's original to the house so about 30+ years. I'm thinking all parts were original. I desperately wanted an upgrade but had no idea how expensive and poorly rated all the systems were rated. I searched and compared and searched some more for months. I ended up settling on the Ultra Clean Central Vacuum Carpet Attachment Kit with Adjustable Height Electric Powerhead. The company was in contact with me immediately to find out my connection type and in a few short days I had my new stuff! The cover for the hose I love and it matches my house! I just don't understand why the package says it is for the size hose I ordered but it is very short and doesn't reach end to end (maybe they aren't suppose to?). It was like Christmas morning going through all the numerous accessories (none of which I have used yet, but still exciting). The actual powerhead I don't feel is made all that well and I wonder what it's longevity will be, but it is so much quieter and works so much better than my old clunker that I could hear nothing over so that is a huge bonus for me. I have one shaggy type carpet and if I don't keep it moving constantly, even on highest setting, it will set off the overload and shut off. There are many buttons and I still find myself trying to figure out and clicking buttons on the handle and powerhead to get it all to turn on. I have 2 small complaints, one is releasing just the powerhead is no simple task. My old vacuum with very little effort I could release the long pole from the powerhead to get in corners, etc. but on this it definitely takes some effort and a few tries to get it to release. My other complaint is the height adjustment, it goes 1 to 5 but to get back to 1 I have to go down from 5, my old one went right from 5 back to 1 and up again. Not huge issues, just little irritating things. Overall I am definitely satisfied just slightly concerned about when I'll have to replace the powerhead. I am glad it has a headlight though!!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hose kit. You never know for sure what will show up when buying online but the price was too good to pass up. Everything included in this kit are at least OEM quality if not better. No cheap parts to be found. It's a perfect fit for central vac unit and wife loves it so far, especially the telescoping wands! We would highly recommend this kit for anyone with central vac units.

The vacuum came with problem on the on and off button. I had it inside the unopened box since I got it 3 months ago June 25. Now that I tried to replace my old vacuum for this one it does not work. I have to unplug it from the outlet if I want to turn it on or off. I tried to return it but the company only gives 30 days to return. I will contact them as I want a new vacuum or my money back, and I will update this review later.

The button to release the carpet sweeper head broke the first time I used this product. It's just a piece of cheap plastic over the release button and it was cracked. I should have returned the product then but I didn't. We continue d to use it and grew more frustrated every time as the carpet sweeper was difficult to trade out for the hard floor sweeper head because of the release button. Now 3 months later the carpet sweeper head has stopped working. Complete waste of money.

Used power brush just two times, on third-time brush begin to make noise and belt got broke. There was no manual with it, so not so easy to find replacement parts.
