I can't say anything about the companies that I did not buy from, but I decided to go with this chair because they claim to use 100% virgin foam, and I did not see that with any other company. All I can say is this chair is AMAZING and I am thrilled with it. It expanded to full size in about 48 hours. As many others, I threw a blanket on it so the dogs could try it out, and needless to say it is there favorite spot. The foam inside is not memory foam. It definitely is not high quality. It was not all new. It was not soft. Some of the stuff in there is really gross. The inside is not as advertised. The outside is.

Really, I'm not sure why this product gets such high reviews. If anyone buys this and expects it to be like the polystyrene bead filled bags of the 1970s, you will be very disappointed. The shredded foam filling does not form to your body, so it is not very comfortable. It is very heavy; ~50 pounds so not easy to move either. The shredded foam filling appears to be made from recycled foam mattress toppers. While I have to applaud them for trying to recycle (would be) waste, the thought of it is kind of gross. I didn't return it because I couldn't find a beanbag cover or liner that big, so I purchased polystyrene beads (for another ~$150) and replaced the foam with the beads. I do like it now, but it was costly to get the product I was hoping it would be. ... show more

This “bean bag” (which is actually filled with foam), was bought for a dorm room. Once it had fully expanded, it was huge! Instead of being used for a bedroom, it had to be moved to the suite living room because of the size. Everyone wants to sit in it, and it is the favored seat in the dorm suite. One piece of advice- get the cover on it right after you open up the bag it is shipped in, otherwise you may have a little trouble getting the cover on without help. This product is very comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews but after doing hours of research this is what I decided to go with. I am happy with my purchase for the price that I paid. Just like other reviewer‘s are mentioning make sure that you open the box in the room that you want the sack to be in. It is very heavy. Let it expand over a few days. It is a little difficult to rotate but I don’t need to (yet) since I have a nice little nest going on. I am 5’10 and I find this to be very comfortable for me. I think another adult could fit on here with me although I would probably go bigger for 2 adults for maximum comfort. I did notice a slight smell after opening but was gone by the next day. Recommended! Also, the cover I got is very soft! So cozy! ... show more

I allow my kids to sit in beanbags if they have their work done. My eleventh graders used to saunter in to class, but now that I have this bean bag, they literally race to get into my room to try to get the big red one! It is so comfortable! I may or may not use it myself during my prep to sit in to grade papers. My husband asked for one for our house. It is the best value for a bag this size that I have found! my ultimate sacks were the perfect edition to make my new apartment a home in place of a mew couch. very big. very comfy. very reasonably priced and will be very easy to move in the future. the sack itself takes a few days to fluff up. in the above photo, these two sacks are the exact same product. do not be discouraged if your ultimate sack looks like the sad blue one on the first day. the plump red one looked just like this on the first day too. it takes like a half a week for it to reach its full potential. disclaimer though: if bought in place of a couch make sure to get throw pillows as well to lean on because these sacks are better for laying than sitting. that being said. these sacks with some comfy throw pillows is far more comfort than i’ve ever experienced from a couch. great buy. wish i could give 6 stars. will be a repeat customer. thank you ultimate sack! ... show more

Purchased for my teen son who is man-sized and too big for a normal bean bag chair. All my kids LOVE it and fight over it! Pros: It’s not those styrofoam beans so I can refluff and reform it as needed. It’s big and wide enough for full size humans. Things to consider: It is big. Make sure you have room for it. It weighs alot, like maybe fifty pounds. Cons: It’s a little flat. We tend to use pillows under our head when using so we are propped up. ... show more
