I have a larger lower half and some tights can feel extremely tight even when they fit perfectly on my waist. These fit great from top to bottom. Didn’t feel like they’ll rip easy. So far these have held up. Even with sizing up a bit they do roll down. They are not very translucent if that’s the look you are going for.

I’ve been on the hunt for thicker tights that don’t rip every time you move & these are them!! Super good quality for the price and they are soo cute and chic looking. Usually I don’t even put tights on without them ripping, because of my nails but these are perfect!

this review is for the "Ultimate Rip Resistant Tights for Women, 40D Semi Sheer High Waist Control Top Indestructible T-Crotch Stockings" which i got in size small, black. at time of this review, one pair costs $14.99. i appreciate that these came in sizes ranging from S to XXL. i'm 5'2 ~100lbs, and generally, stockings never fit me quite right. they usually come all the way up to my boobs, and they are always totally opaque on my legs/calves, and then mildly sheer on my thighs. another problem i have with tights is that they will sag, i'm guessing because they're often too large. these are pretty evenly toned all around. they're also very soft which makes me wonder how durable they could be, but so far so good. and the top part, while still somewhat high, isn't past my waist. in terms of being INDESTRUCTIBLE, time will tell. they don't feel any different from normal tights. but they are really nice. and for $14.99 i would hope so. they also didn't sag or bother me in the crotch area, or feel like they were flattening my butt. if these hold up i may get them in another color!

I have some other tights from the GIFTPIXIE brand that I like very well, so I jumped at the chance to try another hosiery product from their line. When I opened the package I thought, no way are these going to fit me. They seemed too small and not stretchy enough, and I thought the waistband would never work. The waistband looked way too small and tight to ever work, but once I have them on, they come up high enough and it's wide enough that it's not bad. Normally I would not choose a hosiery product labeled "control top" but I had confidence in the GIFTPIXIE brand enough to give it a try. It is okay, and I can make it work. The fabric is very slippery and they glide on more easily than any other tights or stockings I've ever tried. They are slippery all over, including your foot slips around inside your shoe, probably would slip on a floor, and if you sit in them by themselves in a chair, you slip and slide in the chair as well. The slippery quality will help keep them from snagging on anything. These do truly seem to be the rip resistant quality that they are described to be. They have reinforced toes which is always a plus. These seem like ultimate dancewear tights. They're going to last. It's good to know they could be considered "fail safe" for a special occasion. I got these in the size Large, based on my measurements: 5'7", 145 lbs, 34DDD bra, 33" high waist, 37" waist at navel, 42" hips I think these fit and that Large is the right size. It's a great feature of this GIFTPIXIE brand that they produce hosiery in multiple sizes. As far as the Nude color goes, I might have hoped or wished for a paler color, but even though these are a little more "suntan" shade than I would have preferred, it's still a fairly neutral tone and not a big problem. I'm just grateful to find some reasonably well fitting tights that don't seem to cut me in half and won't rip after two wearings. Good job GIFTPIXIE, winning again. This definitely my first choice for hosiery needs from now on, the other kind I got were the best fitting tights I've had in years (those weren't control top).

I liked these initially when I opened them and put them on… silky, fits well, comfortable, look nice. But so disappointed at the end of the day of the first wear that they are SO SNAGGED after very normal wear (no pets or anything in particular that would have caused). Not re-buying, still on the hunt for the perfect tights.
