A must have

This device really helped my editing in DaVinci, made life easy and the programming of the buttons made it super versatile

If you are new to this type of product, be prepared to spend time figuring it out.
Size: D200X: 7.48 x 6.14 x 4.61 inches
This is a very useful device once you figure it out. Unfortunately, the manual was translated by someone with limited knowledge of English. It leaves out nuances and details. The product comes preconfigured to link to Ulanzi tutorial videos. But you have to know where to look for them. They are better, but still not great. They are missing an in-depth walkthrough of the product. That being said, I am very happy with the product at a $79 price point, and can see that it will be a very useful tool in my photo editing workflow. I would have given it five stars if the instructions were better. ... show more

The multi-tool you need...
Size: D200X: 7.48 x 6.14 x 4.61 inches
ummmmmmm...this piece of tech is AMAZEBALLS! I use it everyday both for editing and for basic navigation. As an corporate A1 and an AV Tech, I have programmed this Deck in realtime during shows and had nothing but quick responses and excellent results.

Very interesting but could be better
Size: D200X: 7.48 x 6.14 x 4.61 inches
UPDATE: I reduced the rating to 3 stars because I've been having connectivity and audio issues lately. Sometimes the soundboard app gets stuck on the previous audio output and won't switch over from my wireless headset to my audio interface. Even when I go into my mixer settings on my laptop and change the output it still won't play sound. And if I unplug it and plug it back in to try to refresh the connection the device just won't connect to my laptop again until I restart it. Very annoying! I hope they fix that with a software update. Original review: it's a cool and interesting gadget with a lot of customization options. It's well built and I like the overall design and functionality of it but unless you are live streaming or using certain editing programs this is more of a glorified USB hub than anything. With that being said it is definitely a great USB hub lol I like that it has a built in card reader and pre-made profiles for adobe Lightroom. That will definitely help with photo editing. It also has 2 extra USB ports, which I definitely needed, as well as a thunderbolt, HDMI and 2 USB C ports. I have the deck connected to my PC through one of those ports and my audio interface routed through the other. I was worried about latency issues with my audio interface being routed through the deck but I haven't had any so far. I just wish there were more profiles for other apps. There aren't many profiles for music creation/editing software programs so you would have to make those from scratch and assign your own hotkeys/shortcuts to each button. Also, the profile for FL studio won't download for some reason. I get an error message every time I try. I also wish they're was something on this device that could emulate a mouse, like a central joystick style knob you can use to move the mouse cursor around with a botton on top like a click style ballpoint pen to mimmick the left click. Then you can push the whole joystick in like those on a PlayStation or Xbox controller to emulate the right click. I feel like one of the main purposes of this device is to allow you to do things without having to look down and touch your mouse or keyboard to go into certain settings and stuff, so adding a mouse emulator would really help. My favorite things about this device are the soundboard and audio output switching apps. I love that I can switch my audio output from my interface to my wireless headphones with one push of a button instead of having to go into the sound settings menu to switch between the 2. I also love that I can make my own custom soundboard just by dragging and dropping audio files into the button tiles in the ulanzi app. You can pretty much turn this into an MPC style music instrument if you really wanted to. And since it has a MIDI control app you can probably use it as a drum pad controller for any mpc style plugins you have in your DAW/Music creation software. This is definitely worth the price and can be a very useful tool but I wouldn't buy one if you just surf the web or play video games. ... show more

A brand new D200X working perfectly
Size: D200X: 7.48 x 6.14 x 4.61 inches
The device arrived defective. One of the knobs (in this case, the center knob) doesn't work when turned. It only works when the button is pressed. I assigned the same multimedia function to all three knobs (volume), and it works perfectly on the other two. To further complicate matters, there's a problem with the shipping. The device arrived on April 29th, but according to Amazon, it still hasn't arrived and is expected to be delivered on May 6th. Because of this, I haven't been able to file a claim through the normal process. The truth is, I really want this device. I recently bought the Ulanzi D100H and found it to be an excellent and very useful device. That's why I decided to add the Ulanzi D200X, because I think together they make a perfect solution. To make matters worse, the whole Labor Day celebrations (which I see span several days) have hampered communication. I hope there's a solution soon. UPDATE: I returned the defective unit to Amazon, and as soon as I received my refund, I bought it again. I thought that since it was a purchase made from Colombia, I might have some issues, but that wasn't the case at all. It takes a few days, but they resolve it without any problems. I've been using the new device for six days now, and it works perfectly. The combination of the Ulanzi D200X and the Ulanzi D100H is fantastic. Some people find the Ulanzi Marketplace a bit small, but that's not a problem for me. I always use the presets as a starting point to create my own or I create new ones from scratch (it's something I usually do with plugins in my mixing sessions: if I use a preset for any reason, it's just to get started). I hope the device continues to work perfectly in the coming months. ... show more

Just buy an elgato stream deck, two to three times the price for the same thing but well worth it.
Size: D200X: 7.48 x 6.14 x 4.61 inches
Don't waste your money. Just buy a stream deck! It's literally a complete knockoff, it worked although very clunky. Had to use separate softwares to resize images for the keys, had connectivity issues when used as a hub. There's a reason we pay more money for name brands and elgato is an example of why. They just work. It's streamlined and perfect. Seems like a good value for the money but not worth the headache ... show more
