Ditch the bulky backpack and camera case! This cute lightweight camera bag, disguised as a purse or satchel, is great for everyday travel with a mirrorless camera. My Nikon Z7ii with a 50mm lens fits comfortably inside (see photos), with light padding for protection against everyday bumps. While not ideal for heavy jostling or overhead bins in airplanes, it's a good option for grab-and-go travel photography. The adjustable strap and hidden back pocket add convenience, but the velcro closure offers more weather resistance than true waterproofing. The Ulanzi camera bag is a small, stylish, minimalistic design for carrying just the essentials. The bag interior has one removable partition so that it can potentially accommodate a mirrorless camera + one lens. There are two small interior pockets and one larger zippered pocket on the outside. The polyester fiber shoulder strap is sewn into the plastic hooks and is permanently attached to the bag. The square shaped bottom of the bag lets it stand up when you set it down. The bag actually looks like a purse made of a light-colored polyester fiber with clam shell opening that is held closed by two Velcro strips. You can walk around without anyone knowing you have a camera but when you need to whip it out for a quick picture, this is easily done. The bag does have some padding and is waterproof, so it can go outdoors with you in a very light rain (assuming your gear can handle pictures in the rain). The padding is my chief concern with the bag. Personally, I don't think I will carry my Sony alpha around in this bag. But I do think smaller pocket cameras or action cameras like GoPro work. If your camera rig is a smartphone with small tripod or Moment lens, you have plenty of room to spare. This lightweight travel shoulder bag can also serve as a rain resistant purse if needed!

This camera bag is well made. The adjustable divider on the inside is solid, not flimsy. I have to agree with the other reviews that comment on the smaller size. It doesn't look small, but when you try to get a DSLR to fit in it with a basic lens, it's too snug. Therefore, I think this bag would be best for your smaller cameras like the Sony ZV-1 or Canon G7X series with a small tripod or extra batteries. You could even put a small action camera in it with all the accessories. I generally like my camera gear to be unobtrusive, not for me, but so that it's not obvious what's inside. I thought this would be the perfect bag, but I think I might just use it to store accessories. I am rating it 5 stars because the quality is good.

So this is marketed as a 'camera bag'. I should've looked more closely at the dimensions. OK it is lightweight, but as a camera bag, the padding I think is far too thin to be called a 'camera bag'. You can see from the pictures that the padding with the cloth in total is 4.5mm as read with my caliper. If it falls, or you sling and whack something, I doubt that it will give your camera as good a protection as it may deserve. I didn't earlier noticed but they expect you to fit in bt putting the camera in on its side, as per the ad. The ad shows a Sony a6xxx camera. It can fit my Nikon Z6 with a 50mm, or Z50 with the kit 50-250mm. I was hoping this would be a slightly more stylish replacement to my very old Lowepro 'rectagular' bag that is showing its age. It has served me well all over the world, but as I've switched over to mirroless, and the size, weight is less, and that I'd like something small when I don't carry a long zoom - I thought maybe I'll try something that looks a bit less screaming of photography bag. The padding on my Lowepro is 9.5mm - that's twice as much, and the canvas fabric, zip etc. are tougher ... but its twice the price. But then, you're talking about protecting your expensive and sensitive camera gear. I just thought a generic like this would be able to compete by producing something that is as good/decent without the marketing costs. OK, you get what you pay for - it is still functional, just probably not for interchangeable lens type of cameras. I'll probably still use it with the cheaper camcorder, or as a generic bag for something else - the color I got is probably good enough also for ladies to use as handbag. But for my ILC's ... probably not. If it was not marketed as a 'camera bag', I wouldn't have taken 2 stars off. The velcros are nice, the water resistence is probably true, but as a 'camera bag'... ok maybe for very light cameras like those Fujifilm retro fixed-lens 'rangefinder' type nostalgic cameras like the XV100's (but those are $1600 cams BTW).

If you struggle to tote around your DSLR cameras comfortably, you know the struggle. Bags are either too big, too puffy, inefficient, or not waterproof. This bag takes the cake in all of these areas. The color is more of a greige (beige and gray), which I LOVE! Light gray is such a pleasing color, and the warmth makes it even more soothing to the eye. The camera I use the most is my SL1 (I am just a hobbiest, not a professional), so this bag is perfect for taking it with me when I do not want to lug around my bigger camera bags and extra lenses. The strap is wide, adjustable, and very comfortable. I’m in love with this bag and would absolutely recommend it to others. It may be too compact for larger DSLR cameras (be sure to do your measurements), and it would probably barely fit with a telephoto lens—but with the dividers out it actually might. Love, love it!! And would recommend to anyone.
