  • Fantastic Quality for a great Price
Size: 22L
I'm really impressed with the Quality you can receive at this price point. I was skeptical first, but upon unpacking the backpack I was pleasantly surprised about the quality materials, which you find usually only in products at 2-3x of the price. I took this backpack on a 10 day trip to Europe with shoots almost every day, most of them on location outdoors and it performed very well. It got rained on, and has been sitting in the mud a couple times but was super easy to clean, and my equipment inside stayed always dry. I love the sturdy construction and the fact that it does stand up without tipping over. It fits all my gear I needed for the Job, including a SLR body, and 2 Large and Heavy L Lenses, flash and accessories, hard drives,Batteries, Cables, Card readers, Battery Chargers, Laptop and all the other small items you need to get through a week of working abroad. I could probably still fit another smaller lens. Highly Recommended! Pros: - High Quality Material and sturdy construction, bottom has an extra strong rubber like material. - Side Pocket holds my large 32 oz Water bottle - Other Side Pocket provides immediate access to camera. - Plenty of little pockets to fit basically everything you need - Lots of space and customizable dividers for equipment - Very comfortable to wear, for hours, even if packed to the brim. - Price Cons: - There isn't really much bad to say about this backpack, other than the fact, that the front Pocket could be a little bigger and hold more volume for a Tech pouch etc. But it works great for a Lightweight Jacket and iPad. ... show more

  • Great all in one backpack for $100?!
Size: 22L
Again, tried many camera backpacks, this is the only one that had everything I need and more. Great looking backpack with nice clean design, comes 3 colors, black, black and black. Doesn't matter which one you choose, it will look great. Good padding and protection and great use of space and accessibility. Zippers work smooth with little snagging. Main backpack compartment is nicely padded and organized for you, I didn't have to rearrange anything. My only issue is that the backpack main compartment has an anti falling velcro strap, Ulanzi should've added a way to cover Velcro on strap when not inuse. I found that when your close the bag, it will find Velcro on to something when trying to reopen the compartment. I used a double sided loop Velcro on the each end of the strap to keep it from flopping around and accidentally sticking to the inner lining. See pics above @Ulanzi when you add this to your version 2 BP09, hook up a brother!! Otherwise! Great backpack! Also no need for raincover as its water proof, just make sure to fully zip all the zippers. Duh. K bye. ... show more

  • It's a very well designed bag but has a flaw I don't think it will last years of hard use.
Size: 35L
This bag is hard to fully recommend, but I don't think it's a bad bag. I love the look and design and all the compartments and pockets are amazing. It uses it's space really well and has more pockets than most other bags if that is important to you. The expansion from 25l to 35l is cool but also a problem since you sacrifice that extra 10l as a separate compartment instead of in the main compartment. So the depth of where you will put your camera and lenses could be deeper if it wasn't split into 2 compartments but you actually don't have that much as you would think. I am using small/medium lenses in my photos. Something like a 24-105 would not be flush with the main compartment. (But you could still zip it up) I thought I could live with the PU leather, but if you are like me and throw your bag around then I do not think the material will last. What I hate the most about this bag is that you have to open it face down backup so that means the front is on whatever the ground surface is. I wish there was at least another hard cover on the other front pouch to take the damage and force , but since there isn't I can see the front bottom pouch getting shredded over time. Also the fact you have to open the main compartment with the front down mean you have to keep zipping it up to then flip back around to get to the front pockets. This bag slowed me down on a recent shoot a lotl If you swing the backpack around to the front to grab the camera on one of the side zippers that go to the main compartment the camera will be upside down because of that reason that it has to open face down. I love the included waist strap that you can attach or take off. I had to tuck the clip straps underneath the pockets since I did not want it dangling and honestly it works great. Not sure if it was designed for that. I can recommend this if you don't think you will abuse your backpack, but I am so run and gun the backpack will get pushed to it's limits though I think $150 is a bit high. ... show more

  • Finally! An affordable quality bag for my gear!
Size: 35L
I've been looking for a bag that's not ridiculously overpriced, that's durable, and has room for more gear than I usually carry. I'm easily able to fit a 5D Mark IV with a 70-200 2.8 II attached, a 6D Mark II with a 24-70 2.8 II attached, a 100mm 2.8 L Macro, a 50mm 1.8, 24-105 F4 II, 35mm 1.4 II, 16-35mm F4 inside, and my Godox V860 III fits in the front pouch with room to spare. I haven't even expanded the bag to gain its additional 10L of space, but that'll come in handy for traveling when I need to pack clothes and other essentials. There are also a ton of pockets for memory cards, card readers, batteries, etc. All for under $150 USD. The outer materials of the bag are soft but durable, and the fabrics inside are all soft to the touch but well made. The velcro tabs are also easy to configure how I need them, and I still have a couple of pieces left over. The belt attachment that comes with the bag fits me, even though I'm a big guy (6'4" and 365lbs). I don't often travel with this much gear, but I have an out of state wedding I'm going to be photographing in April and I needed a bag that fits extra gear, and can be taken as a carry on. Overall, VERY impressed with this new bag. This is also my first purchase of a Ulanzi product, so I'll have to check some of their other stuff out now as well. With everything I have loaded so far, the total weight of the bag is at 22.7 lbs. ... show more
