I've had this type case a little over three years now and it was time to replace it because the old one was becoming a little ratty. For me it is PERFECT! There is space under the left panel to carry a little cash just in case I need it, a couple of slots for credit cards if I just want to just carry my phone with other stuff in it (it does not have a shield but I'm OK with that). I normally put my insurance card in one of the slots, along with a few business cards. But what I love most about it is the protection it provides my phone. I don't have to worry about dropping it or damaging the screen and can use the back panel to set the phone on it's side. As a result, my phone is in pristine condition. I opted for the sunflower pattern because I like the cheery nature of the flower and it is easy to see if I drop it down in my purse. I've gotten numerous compliments on it when people notice me with it. I will say the magnet that holds it closed is not as strong as the old one but is still strong enough to keep it closed.     • Not really meant to hold credit cards or similar things in slots
What's not quite as good: The color isn't hot pink like the photo, it's more of a bright bubblegum pink. While the card slots on the inside are wide enough to accommodate credit cards, even if you only put 1 card in each slot, it makes the left side too fat to close normally. It bulges a bit. The wrist strap is convenient, but isn't sturdy enough to depend upon, it is already starting to come unglued. The magnetic strap closing the unit has started to fray, but I close and open it a lot. The folding of the case to use as a stand does not really work that well. Perhaps because it is still too stiff. But since parts have already started to fray, I can't see the case lasting long enough for the stiffness to ease up enough. What's good: It's pretty, I've gotten a lot of compliments on the case. The magnetic closure is strong enough to hold it closed, even if it is bulging a little from what you put in it. The stitching around the card slots seems strong enough to hold moderate use. The opening for the camera does not encroach on the camera, and the edges are unlikely to fray. The case that holds the phone is a rubbery plastic, and seems sturdy. It is not stitched to the case, but the glue shows no signs of weakening or give. It cleans normal wear nicely with just water. The slots for charging, speakers, on/off sound, etc, are cut accurately and smoothly. The up/down volume and off buttons are covered on the phone with corresponding buttons on the case, but this does not inhibit their use. ... show more
