The platform itself rather big and heavy. If you don’t mind a bigger platform, then this is the one for you. It was too big to go into my pack, so I just carry it in with me and use a rope to bring it up the tree when I’m in place, not a big deal. Very easy to use and set up, and is very stable once locked into the tree.

This is my first year saddle hunting. I put together a "kit" from misc. AliEx and Amazon items. This platform was 1/3 the price of similar name brand items. I will acknowledge the one 3 times the price is carbon fiber and 1/2 the weight. I have an Amazon mole backpack that this platform fits inside. Compared to my 22 pound climbing stand the entire system weights nothing. I'm sure veteran saddle hunters can tell you the difference in this one and say a Tethrd, but I can't.

This platform is better than expected. I am 6’3 275 lbs and this thing is solid as a rock. I was expecting it to have a little give in it but no. When you get the strap tight and cam it over,it’s locked in, even with side pressure. I haven’t used one of the top of the line ones but I bet this one is just a sturdy. If your someone like me that isn’t worried about an extra pound or so of weight this thing is perfect. The only negative is it comes in silver. But that means you get to paint it however you want to fit your hunting environment.
