Now the picture will make you think it’s really thick but it’s not, it has an zipper opening where you can insert a thick comforter I guess. But for me, it’s fine just the way it is because we just placed it on top of the comforter we sleep under. So again, I’m in love and will be purchasing again! I’ve seen many people state that the cover is “thinner” than the picture but keep in mind this is a DUVET COVER which means it has a zipper and is meant to be filled with other material!
