This stand is fantastic. It is small, lightweight, folds up flat and will easily fit in my purse. I read constantly and it is perfect for holding my Kindle Fire. I can use it on a table or on a pillow and it prevents me from getting a cramp in my hand after hours of reading. It also keeps me from straining my neck leaning down to read. The case on my Kindle will stand up but I have had issues on planes with it falling over. This will be infinitely more secure. I bought this for my iPad mini a17 pro when I need to use it as a third screen to diagram presentations in apps like miro and to use as a stand to watch videos as well. I’ve also used it to hold my reMarkable digital notebook to read notes as I present or work. I’m not sure what people are putting on this when they claim it doesn’t hold much weight. The hinge is firm and offers good resistance adjusting.
