Mac mini m4 fits perfectly on it Makes turning on and off easy I chose this one with display port which I used with an adapter to use an older display which works great. Have a wireless mouse and keyboard and they each needed a usb port or conversion but there were plenty of usb which I used and works great. I haven’t bought ssd for extra storage but will shortly. Went ahead and got the 3 yr coverage in case has issue should be covered. Small footprint and looks great

Designed to sit under the M4 Mini - it not only provides a nice set of additional ports in exchange for using two of the USB-C ports (including the Thunderbolt port), it also gives you a NVMe slot to let you neatly add storage to your M4 that shows up as an additional drive in MacOS. It makes for a good destination for those of us who have larger photo libraries.

Overall the dock works great as a dock only, the additional USBs, the DisplayPort output, etc. all work perfectly. The issue that I had is that I did add an additional memory card inside, and the ventilation/cooling was not sufficient. The memory kept overheating and ultimately I ended up buying a separate external enclosure for the memory. For the price, still worth the money for my needs and the reason I gave it 4 stars, but be mindful that if you're getting this specifically for the ability to add a memory card it will likely have similar issues with overheating.

UGREEN Mac mini M4 Dock — I’m sorry to say I can’t recommend this product. One of the biggest issues is the continuous power draw, even while your Mac mini is asleep. This thing is constantly chugging power. If you feel the underside where the NVMe drive sits, it’s red hot all the time. I own many other external NVMe adapters, and none of them get anywhere near this hot, which tells me this dock is drawing far too much power. Any drive you put in it is likely to experience overheating issues. While the product does work as advertised, the fact that it runs RED HOT is a massive red flag. I would avoid it.

Very well constructed, but the nvme port is slow - states 10gbps which equates to 1250mb/s but was only getting 830mb/s (60-70% of the claimed speed). Decided to get a 40gbps hub for just a little more.
