I only gave a 3 star as I am unable to return as I live in South Africa and I ordered and got a friend to bring out to me. I don't think the boots match - the right boot is a lot looser than the left (like it had been stretched or worn) and the black toe covering is different to the left boot. Also the left boot seems to have sherpa missing on the join and it gave me a blister - I think from the stitching. I said it fit as expected only due to fact that I followed everyone's comments about sizing being small and necessary to size up. I am a standard US7 and ordered US8 and the sizing was perfect - thank you everyone for the advise! I do love that they are very comfortable, warm and waterproof and what I am unable to get in SA so I would say I would buy again as long as I could try on and able to switch out if necessary. ... show more

I purchased this item to wear on a vacation (in wet rainy weather, farm and ranch properties, city walking). I love these boots. They fit perfect with wool, thick socks. They kept my feet (especially toes) toasted warm. I can't say enough about the boots. When I was walking they gave me a "boost" with every step. My only criticism of the boot is the tongue doesn't come up to the top and the last lacing doesn't close completely. When wearing leggings it doesn't look "polished". I ended up folding my socks over the top. Do not hesitate to buy. They are a treat to wear!!!!! I wore them everyday for three weeks from beaches, to hills, to city streets, farms, horse back riding, boating and more. They travelled perfectly! ... show more

UGG quality has definitely changed since I bought my first pair of Adirondacks in 2001. The sheepskin is not as luxurious feeling as it once was. That being said, I still like the look and got mine on major sale so I'm going to keep them. Just wish they made them like they used to! Also, I tried these on at Nordstrom before purchasing here and I'm glad I did because my old pair was a size 8 and I had to get 8.5 this time. ... show more

    • Runs unusually small
Received them today. they look just as pictured, happy with how they looked on as well.. However even though reviews say to size up a 1/2 size which I did, the boots are too small. So bummed as we are experiencing a winter storm and they would have been perfect to wear now. I wear a solid 7 always and now will have to return the 7 1/2's and have ordered the 8's hope those fit. When reviews say they run small, in this case its true.. size up1 whole size ... show more
