Very comfortable, warm, and well made in Vietnam…they were a surprise. However there was only one issue. They came with a used pair of knotted sox in the right boot…lol . Size 11 is very accurate. I have a wide toeb0x , and a narrow heel. Dress shoes are 10 1/2. JM’s.Quite nice boots.

I bought these for a trip to South Korea in winter. It was 20-30 below 0 and snowing, and I wanted something warm that could handle ice and snow; I've had to deal with inadequate shoes in winter conditions before and didn't care to repeat the experience. They're definitely warm, easy to put on for a pair of lace-up boots, and reasonably comfortable, but they do require breaking in, so don't do what I did and trek all over Seoul in a brand new pair of these XD Anyway, I like how they look and after the break-in period I really appreciated how they kept my feet warm and dry despite the cold and snow and kept me sure-footed even on icy pavement. I'd recommend to anyone seeking a good blend of practicality and style. ... show more

Not gonna lie, these boots are expensive. That's probably why you're reading this review. Here's the short version: Not too heavy, not too light. Fit like a glove. Comfortable for walking around indoors and warm outside. Generally speaking, I hate snow boots. My feet run very warm, but I need boots that I can wear out in the snow and ice. I have owned a pair of Sorel Caribou for nearly 25 years now. They look brand new. In part due to their excellent construction, and in part due to the fact that I hardly ever wear them. They're giant beasts, heavy, unwieldy to wear and drive in, and too warm. My new Ugg boots, on the other hand . . . I LOVE these. I have driven 4 hours to ski while wearing them. I've worn them while sitting in a restaurant to eat and didn't feel overheated. I can slosh through puddles in the parking lot and comfortably shop for groceries. In the month that I've owned these boots, I happily reach for them to jump in the car on an errand. I've never done that with my other snow boots. The toe box is generous but not oversized and clumsy. The tread on the bottom is grippy and steady. The weight is substantial enough to know what you're wearing, but without feeling heavy. ... show more

    • Light weight and warm but...
I love that this show is so light weight for the warmth and it fit perfectly for 10.5. I wear a woman's 11 wide in sneakers but I get a whole size up for thick socks in winter. So 10.5 for perfect in men's for thick socks for me. My only issue is that one of the insoles was deformed and the stitching was bad on it. For the price you wouldn't think this would happen I tried to get replacement shoes but they wanted me to return both the shoes and have them completely replaced which I couldn't because of time. So now I had to just buy new insoles instead of just getting sent replacements. Again, at this price I expected better, after all it was just an insole. Other than that they are great. ... show more

I ordered my son a pair of Sorel Caribou boots for Christmas. He said they felt like he was wearing a pair of cinderblocks with fleece lining lining on his feet. I picked one up to see if he was exaggerating. They are SO stiff and heavy! Great for serious outdoor stuff,, maybe, but he wanted some good looking boots to just do his running around town in when he goes out on winter days, while still looking cool and having warm feet. He also likes footwear that he can slip on without socks and leave the laces loose. I decided to order these Ugg Buttes for him to try. They arrived today, and after he tried them on, he didn't want to take them off - all day! He says they are absolutely the most comfortable boots he's ever had on, and that they require no breaking in at all, and feel super light. That matters because he's 6'5" and wears a size 15 boot. Get the picture? lol They look terrific on him with jeans tucked in boots or jeans riding above the boot tops. He left for the weekend, and said he plans to wear them all weekend.     • Not ugg Australia?

I was under the impression that these were UGG Australia, but nowhere on the box or in the literature does it say that. I read under the questions and answers product information on Amazon where someone had said they were made in Australia. The only information I got on Australia was here on the description -it only states that it was made by an Australian in California. I believe there are two different companies ugg and ugg Australia. But I don't know. Regardless, I think they are great. I just got the boots and they are pretty terrific. Seems very high quality and craftsmanship. They are super lightweight very good looking. Mine were also made in Vietnam. It says that they are only 60% wool and 40% some other material (lyocel?). The insole is not furry, it is made of some other material (soft and warm). The sole itself is not soft and super flexible as someone else stated in my opinion; it is just as hard as any of my other boots, but not stiff by any means -just perfect. So far I love them.
