I'm 6' tall and just under 300lbs so I needed a very sturdy lawn chair to watch the eclipse. I am mostly happy with this chair, it's sturdy and comfortable plus it's long enough and wide enough for a large man. The locks that hold it in it's reclined position hold well and are easy to use with a little practice. My only complaint is that I wish it had a way to lock in the open position because it tries to fold up anytime you move it. It's nice to have a comfortable outside chair and I would suggest this one to larger people. ... show more

We purchased the oversized chairs and they are perfect because we are tall and like the extra room. Lovely outdoor reclining chairs. They are already assembled you just have to install the cup holder. My husband and I really like the reclining positions but the lock could be more sturdy. Update: customer service is great. They approached me with a couple solutions and I now have a new chair. So far so good. I had high hopes for this chair, especially after all the great reviews. I like the overall design of the chair, the product pictures reminded me of my Timber Ridge that I have had for over a year, but with a few little extras (cup holder can be on either side, foot pad, and the pillow attachment design is a lot easier to use than on the Timber Ridge). In reality the chair doesn't feel as sturdy/planted as my Timber Ridge does. The cup holder is all plastic and it just slides down on to the tubes for the front and rear legs. My cup holder ended up cracking within the first week of use, and it is barely hang on the chair. I figured I will redesign a better sturdier cup holder and 3D print it. Like the other reviews I have found the tilt locks to be very stiff, and they are more difficult to use (lock and unlock) than the tilt locks on my Timber Ridge. Now after about 3 weeks or so of use the locks are starting to bind up even when in the unlocked position. They make popping sound when the chair is reclined even when the are in the unlock position (that is concerning). If you check product reviews for this item on Amazon there are more people complaining about the lock mechanism. Last night I requested to return the product for a refund, and Amazon issued an unpaid return label. It was late and I was on my cell, so this morning I cancelled the return and requested another return on my PC (figured I might have selected an incorrect return shipping option), but unfortunately the only product return shipping option is for an unpaid shipping label. I looked in the 1 and 2 star reviews and noticed there are more people complaining on Amazon about having to pay for the product return shipping and that it was a lot $$$. Some customers received unpaid shipping labels, and it seems some received paid shipping labels, but the seller deducted the shipping $$$ from their refund. The seller reached out to me to see if they issued a $30 partial refund if I would keep the product, does that seem right to you? For a failed cup holder (sure/maybe if a customer can fix/replace it with a better solution), but not for a chair that is having the tilt locks fail on it. I responded back to seller, and will see what there response back is. I will reach out to Amazon to have them look into the unpaid shipping label for a product that is defective, and that many of Amazon's customers have complained about already. ... show more
