Assembly is straight-forward but it's tedious and you need to take your time. I found that the thin diameter pipes for the top portion were particularly tight to fit to the plastic connectors. One time I was trying to push the pipe in, the plastic connector broke and the other end of the pipe hit me in the forehead. I was lucky the pipe end didn't poke my eye out or anything. Once assembled, the shelves are pretty rigid and easily adjustable so they don't wobble. I wouldn't put anything too heavy because the parts are very light weight after all. I wish the parts were manufactured with a little bit better quality and consistency, as some pipes felt too tight to the connectors... even though it's an interference fit by design. Some of the plastic connectors had molding (submarine) gate remnants that protruded by more than 2mm and were sharp, which could cause injury during assembly and/or usage. Overall, a very clever solution to keep everything light and shipping/assembly costs low to create better overall value for the user. ... show more
