  • Uboway Barbell stand
Color: Classic Design
This weight stand is not perfect but it functions for what I needed to do which is hold barbell and support weight up to 250 lb. Any more than that I think the stand would be unstable. It does have some adjustment for with so if you wanted to close it down you could use it as a dip machine because it has two rubberized handles on the back. It also has some vertical adjustment but I discovered to use it for bench press it is necessary to make the adjustments of the stands on each side to put them as low as it will go and it's still a little bit High. Other than that it just fills the need ... show more

  • Depends on Your Expectations
Color: Classic Design
Hi All, Here is my honest review, which I will break down in phases: Background: I bought this piece of equipment because I'm downsizing my home gym. For years I worked out in my garage in a rather large, expensive PowerRack that had all the attachments you would ever need (Lat Pull Down, Landmines, Dips, etc). As I've gotten older and after several workout related injuries I realized it's probably not in my best interest to squat, deadlift, or OHP for personal records anymore. Now most of my lifting is done with lighter weight and increased reps. Squatting: I'm 5'8 and and use the rack at it's highest setting. Anybody taller than me would have a hard time using this for squats. As other reviewers have pointed out the stands do wobble, however I do feel comfortable putting up to 225lbs on the rack. It ironically becomes sturdier with the added weight. With that said, I DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE doing any type of PR on this thing. The stands wiggle too much and it's a little awkward re-racking the weights because of the horizontal support bar. if you ever found yourself in a situation where you needed to rack the weight quickly, you are better off just dumping the bar on the floor. OHP Press: Similar to squats, only good for individuals under 5'8. I wouldn't put more than 225lbs on the rack Bench Press: This is where this thing shines. I feel super comfortable benching on this thing. The "lowered" stands feel so much more sturdy than when when they are extended. The safety bars are not going to stop a bar from crushing your chest, but they do come in handy if you can't get the last rep up. Dips: This thing works very well for dips. Final thoughts: At just under $100 I think this piece of equipment is worth it. If you are taller than 5'8 or looking to do any type of serious weight lifting I would advise you to look somewhere else. If you are looking to stay in decent shape, lift lighter weights, and not looking to PR, then I think you found yourself a winner. ... show more

  • Quality Issues
Color: Update Design
Packaging did not secure parts during transit. Damaged packaging allowed rust to form on a few parts. The tolerances appeared not to spec and had to hammer a bracket to align properly. Assembly was fairly easy, however could tighten bolts until all were in place due to tolerance issues. There is still some movement going side to side. ... show more

  • It's adequate
Color: Classic Design
Got this because I'm tired of having to clean the bar up to do squats or OHP. I'm limited in ceiling height and floor space, so I needed something compact. This fits the bill. I wouldn't trust it for very heavy weight due to stability but should be ok for 225 or under if you're careful. The lower catch is crazy narrow and the knobs for the upper height adjustment impinge on the space, so not sure how well these are going to work long term. The cross piece for stability also makes using a bench somewhat difficult. I do like the dip handles, though you can't really go all out due to stability. Overall a decent compromise solution but it wouldn't be my first choice if space allowed a full size cage or rack. Build quality is ok. Assembly tools are included but you will be better served using your own "real" tools. ... show more

  • Pretty good when you take into account how cheap it is
Color: Classic Design
I also forgot to mention in the video that when you're doing squats you really need to be facing the rack because chances are it's not as tall as you are and it's going to require a little extra coordination to re-rack the barbell because the catchers are not very tall

  • Not what’s pictured
Color: Classic Design
1/15/2021 Update: I changed my review to 5 stars because the customer service is outstanding. I’ve purchased items in the past that were good but when it came down to customer service, they were just horrific. It was not the case with these guys. Although the item was not what I expected, the seller did everything they could to make it right. Because of the outstanding customer service, I would not hesitate to purchase items from them in the future. I hope this helps anyone looking to purchase from them. Here is a warning. What you see in the picture is NOT what you get. I posted pictures of what you actually receive. When o got my package, I saw that it was different so I requested a return and exchange. They sent the same one back to me (which was different than what’s pictured in the listing). The cross bar support is on the bottom instead of up higher. The stands are ok and not meant to hold heavy weights. The stands wobble around trying to do dips so I can’t see how you can put hundreds of pounds on them. If you want to get the item pictured from the listing, do not order this. I don’t recommend this item unless you’re using it for light weights. ... show more
