I am quite the Instagram addict if I say so myself. I love taking pictures of others and it’s great to have someone return the favor. The only problem is that I usually never like the pictures others take of me. It’s always either too much ground or too much sky or they catch me right when I am about to switch my pose. I don’t know if it’s the phone, my face, or the person’s inability to find good angles. We’ll never know. Anywho…I eventually decided to just start taking pictures for myself. So I invested a few hard earned dollars into this tripod. This is the first tripod that I have owned. I think for the price it is great quality. You can adjust the height considerably. The remote control connects to my phone in a matter of seconds. You literally just turn it on and BOOM! Start clicking away. I love that I don’t have to run back and forth to set a timer for each picture. This allows me to focus on the picture itself to make them more natural. I don’t have to start the timer and then think of a pose. I guess you could say it’s a lot less manual. The one downside is that if you are someone like me that takes at least 300 pictures before picking the 2 good ones, you have to remember to not go crazy with the clicks. Give it time so the pictures are clear. Otherwise they’ll turn out all blurry. Take your time with the shoots. Also, because the remote is very small, it can get lost easily. Try to keep in the same place so it doesn’t get lost. The tripod is relatively compact. I carry it in a tote bag and it fits well. It’s super light weight. When it’s get’s windy, it can get flimsy, swaying back and forth and even fall. Always set it on a flat surface to prevent phone damage. Overall, a great product for recording videos, taking group pictures or taking solos when you see an aesthetic location and decide to pull over. Allows you to enjoy the moment without focusing too much on capturing it :)

Update to my previous review: A little over a year of using this tripod, which is generally pretty sturdy, the adjuster knob broke, so I have no way of adjusting the head of the tripod. It does not take much pressure to overtighten the knob. This is one part of the tripod that could use an overhaul. I finally got a hold of the company and apparently the parts are no longer available for this particular model, so they are actually sending me a whole new tripod which is awesome. They have many different sizes to choose from so if you’re looking for a really good and sturdy tripod/selfie stick, consider this one. On another note, because there was no place to attach the included remote, there’s a possibility you could lose it easily which I did. I would recommend attaching it to a keychain. It hasn’t been a big issue, not having the remote as I can simply set the timer manually or use Siri to do so. If you are looking for a very durable and sturdy selfie stick/tripod then this one might suit you just fine. It extends much further than other selfie sticks, up to 51 inches, ensuring that everyone will be in your picture. The size of it preludes carrying it in your pocket though! It will not fit inside a purse but it is easily carried in a backpack or larger carry bag. As a tripod it is infinitely more stable than others smaller ones out there. It has multiple adjustments for the legs. The remote is very simple and has two buttons. One for iOS and one for android. It pairs easily when your Bluetooth is on.

I love this tripod! It’s sturdy, raises up really high, and folds up into a compact size. The remote is Bluetooth enabled so pairs right to your phone. It’s awesome and I no longer have to ask strangers to take a photo which is a huge bonus lol.
