The case is really good as far as protection, but I originally rated low because the case performed really poorly with a MagSafe car mount. I ended up discovering the root cause of the issue, and it's not completely the case's fault. It has more to do with a combination of weaker than expected magnets in the case, and a design flaw with the charging pad. The charging pad was a flat oval shape, and I discovered that the pad was hitting the raised camera protection of this case, and not letting the pad sit flush on the magnets. It had a gap, and that caused the extremely weak connection which cased it to constantly fall off the mount. I purchased a new charger (perfectly round), and it works fine with this case. So this is one of the coolest cases UAG makes. I love the monarch line and this one is no different. Never has a phone broken inside of one of these cases. However if you are a MagSafe accessory user then I would say not the best case for that. The charger works great but the magnet is not very strong. Car mount phone falls off first little bump. Camera MagSafe mount , smallest bump phone falls off. If your main concern is looking awesome and phone having the best protection this is the best case. Not often I’m knocked if my feet but this is the best case I’ve owned and I’ve had an iPhone since morning after they first came out in 2007. Feels more secure. Extensions on end stabilize the phone laid flat considering the larger lenses in the 14 Pro. Corners look like they will protect better on a fall. I’m now looking for an option similar for my 2020 iPad Pro. MagSafe features works perfect with my 3 in 1 VanSmaGo MagSafe charger. Not as string a connection as with the case off but it’s not falling off and still requires some force to remove. ... show more

The case is solid, durable, wireless charging compatible, and... has the weakest magnets imaginable. So weak that, while the phone itself makes a SOLID connection with the magsafe mount in my car (even stronger than my iPhone 12 Pro), the mount is basically unusable with this case as the.agnets won't make a strong enough connection to keep the phone attached. UAG has for the last couple of years seemed to think that Magsafe's only use is charging and apparently haven't learned anything during that time. This case is going back. At $80, it should not interfere with what is by now a standard function of the iPhone line. A real disappointment, as UAG cases have always offered great protection without sacrificing function. So the case itself is a solid great feeling protective case, but it falls short with MagSafe. There is zero MagSafe functionality with this case. I have tried numerous MagSafe chargers and accessories that work fine with other cases.
